Chelsea could battle it out with Tottenham for the services of Gabriel Heinze, but the player says he is happy at Real Madrid.

The Argentina ace joined Real from Manchester United back in 2007 but there have been reports suggesting he could be heading back to the Premiership with both Spurs and Chelsea showing an interest.

However, the defender, who still has 18 months to run on his current deal, insists there has not been any contact with either club and insists he is happy with life in Madrid for now.

"I am calm about my future," Heinze told skysports. "I saw the rumours about some clubs but still I have not spoken to a club. I have signed a deal with Real Madrid and now things could change but I am happy here."
