Cheap cop out, they are in the same competition as us on merit and they play decent football

It's facts. Had you even heard of the team before the draw?

Every team is held to a standard (competition odds would enlighten you). If you think we are both judged by the same standard, I can't say anymore.

There are many football teams I have never heard of… but when we meet them in a European competition I give them respect they deserve, same as smaller clubs beat the prem clubs in cup competitions, this is football nothing is a given

Somethings he says are that stupid, I’m surprised he manages to pull out the pin before throwing it.

Yes, anything may happen in any sport; we're all human. However, your comment obviously ignores the issue I raised. The standards by which we and they are assessed are vastly different.

The atmosphere at the club is touching Potter and Lampard 2.0 levels. And its not even September yet

As a non-English fan it’s really fucking puzzling. I could understand match going fans getting restless and agitated if we’re playing like shit 10 matches into the season. But from basically minute 1 there are reports of booing, singing Gallagher’s name, and a generally library like atmosphere at the Bridge.

I really don’t get it. We’ve got loads of exciting players and a new manager that’s going to try to play good, modern football. And yet the match going fans won’t even give it a chance? They trying to make it toxic for the players?

How you assess them you mean. Every European is hard regardless of quality, and if you expect us to steamroll through this competition, you will be very disappointed

First of all he is 73 years old. Majority of people don't know how to use internet at that age. He's writing here not in his native language. I think that's impressive. Apparently graduated college in UK. His comments in politics thread are one of the most entertaining parts of this forum. I consider him intellectual and have huge respect for him.

I don't think we're going to steamroll anyone. Similarly, if we qualify, which is quite likely, we will be heavy favourites to win the competition, and rightfully so.

who cares?

its better to stay with him to have some hope to get top4 and the wage is paid after that

But both are last options regardless who stays. Felix, Nkunku, Palmer, Neto, Madueke. Probably will play just garbage time in Conference and Carabao. Who wants to pay someone 300k per week for that?
