Having now had a full season to see what he’s got I’d say it’s clear that Nico Jackson is the picture perfect rotation striker or super sub. He is 100% NOT ready to be the lead dog, main striker for a club like us who want to return to the top. He’d be an amazing weapon to have in a squad and will still get a LOT of playing time. Not nearly clinical enough to be the main man, though.

We’re 2 players away from being a serious team. Maybe 3 if you think we need yet another starting keeper. How about we let whichever scout/sporting director who pushed for Cole Palmer to choose the striker and CB we go for!?

staring August 27 2023, he has 23 league goals in 31 games, pretty spaced out too

plus 4 today (and should have had 6)

10 of those goals were against top 7 teams

Me neither. It seems like Martinez getting injured saw them start to leak goals for fun. Conference league semi is evident of that.
