Aesthetic Relic 301
I'm only able to get into this as we'd a power cut over here due to the weather. Even missed MOTD so I couldnt relive it. Have to wait till tomorrow morning I suppose. Thats the sort of game that can give the squad a real lift. We battered Stoke for the full match and we fully deserved the 3 points. It looked like it was going to be one of those days. Credit to Lampard who continued to get himself in positions to score. It couldnt have happened at a sweeter time. I thought Stoch was going to get the winner just before Lampard scored. He'd cut inside their LB and hit a cracking shot. The wee man looked good for all I saw of him. We're definately on a high. Boro next then off to Liverpool. Keep that spirit going lads.
Kez 2,727
If we win anything this season, this will surely be a game everyone looks back on and says this was the turning point
misschief 24
We're still missing that clinical finisher up front because god knows we cant win games by fluking them like Liverpool. Having said that, for the first time this season I was proud of the way we fought right up to the whistle - thats the sort of spirit that wins games, not giving up the minute you concede. And even better than that was Scolari and the players' reaction - they really gave a shit today, its taken way too bloody long but they all showed they really gave a shit. Di Santo made a significant difference for me and needs to play a lot more than he does right now.

Elliott 7
Yea sorry mate i wish all you guys got the same service as i do in australia i dont understand why use dont. One of my best mates just moved down from chester and he reckons you guys get a quater of the games that we get. We get every game every week all year round, including fa cup, carling cup and CL. If we got every game on TV, we'd have fewer people going to the games. That'd be really bad, better that it is the way it is. Well that was an exhilarating win. We battered them but a combination of Sorensen and poor finishing almost scuppered us. When Belletti scored all I could do was breathe a sigh of relief but when Lampard scored the winner I went fucking mental. We shouldn't be having monumentous wins against Stoke, we should be having comfortable wins, but nevermind, its three points and we can take great heart from that performance. And Di Santo and Stoch must have earned places in the game against Ipswich.

BlueLion. 21,491
Well after the last two games, we've seen the squad are together and that they're behind LFS. For that reason, so am I.

blue_army 2
God that has to be the best way to win a game , went completley mental with my dodgy ankle ( i can not walk without a limp at the best of times) that was not good but the sheer elation and emotions at that goal and the final whistle make up for the agony i am in today
terry26 6
after that game i neeeded a new heart lol - mine was going a hundred miles a minute was a great game in that obv we won - but we deserved to - 30 shots to 1 really my feelings on the game were simple 1-58 min - we were playing well - it was a matter of time before we scored 59 min - NOT AGAIN FFS !!!!!!!!!! 87 min - Juli saved Scolari's job for now 93 min - Frank is a Chelsea hero for a reason, and i felt really really sorry for those people who left the stadium early
BlueLion. 21,491
I didn't feel at all sorry for those who left the stadium. Its their choice. They spend £45+ on a ticket and leave with over 10 minutes left, hardly what I'd call loyal fans. Yes, I can understand they were annoyed and I might have been in half a mind to do so, but at the end of the day its their choice to leave, so its their fault and their fault only. Half of them who left are probably prawn sarnie brigade members from the west lower.
