Big Phil's new fines for Blues

PHIL SCOLARI has angered his Chelsea stars by hitting them with a new list of fines as he tries to re-assert his authority.

His players are furious and one Blues insider told SunSport: “All is not well at the moment.

"This new list of fines is just another example of the problems between the players and the manager.”

When the Brazilian boss took over he brought in fines for petty misdemeanours such as the use of mobile phones.

The list was removed as Chelsea went on a good run — but now there is a new one.

This has upset his squad ahead of tomorrow’s vital trip to Manchester United.

Scolari has already been challenged by Frank Lampard and John Terry about his laid-back training regime.

The boss said: “I don’t know why things are not going so well but I am working hard to put it right.

“I have a few ideas in terms of things we do in training and things we do in the hotel before the games. Things that will help our concentration.”

Some players are also jealous of German Michael Ballack, whose wage has effectively risen due to a contract clause protecting him from the weakness of the pound.
