Fulham Broadway 17,367
Bookies have stopped taking bets on Scolari to be the next Premiership sacking.... Dead man Walking ?

Laylabelle 9,541
Prob..in a way a bit harsh with no European experince needs helppppp
BlueLion. 21,491
Its very harsh. At the start of the season I was confident we would win something, but looking back in fairness, this is his first job in European football. He's learning all the time - albeit mostly the hard way. I'm prepared to give him time.
Aesthetic Relic 301
He's learning all the time Is he ? We cant win for shit at home. We need a change of tactics. Does he do it ?....No. He sticks to his formation that is suited to away games. We resort to humping balls into the box for a striker who is not suited to that style of play. Anelka is in red hot form. We get Drogba back and the fans are crying out for him to go 4-4-2 and play both together. Does he do it?......No. He sticks to his formation and leaves one or the other on the bench. Deco is playing shite football. Everyone can see he's having a nightmare. Does he drag him off?.....No. He keeps him on the pitch and drags off Joe Cole who's been on form and looking dangerous. Scolari has a system that he's comfortable with. It may well suit Brazil or Portugal, but surely he can see its not suiting us. If he cant see that by now he's either blind or insane. Imo we need to go 4-4-2 and drop Deco. play Mikel, Lampard and Ballack in the middle with Joe Cole having licence to roam behind the strikers. Play both Anelka and Drogba to keep defenders busy which in turn provides space for Lampard to exploit with his late runs into the box. We see in our play when one of the wing backs go forward, the other one stays and Mikel fills in. If thats the case switch Joe Cole to the opposite side and that gives us an extra man in attack. It'll spread their defence and holes will appear. Never mind Mourinho......TB for Manager

Joe Cool 388
Never mind Mourinho......TB for Manager Go Stuart I agree wit the stuff that he's not listening to anyone at all. He needs to grow balls and start with a 4-4-2 for once. Anelka always seems too outnumbered against clubs that have their bus parked in front of goal. Deco has been as useful as tits on a boar hog and he was rested/benched once. We won that game, didn't we? Next game he's in, 1-1 draw. No coincidence there. I think a big reason why we've been on this downward slope also is because of the departure of Steve Clarke. He actually brought lots of motivation to the side, something that the team is lacking right now.
Fulham Broadway 17,367
The other annoying thing is that Scolari doesnt seem too concerned. The press confereces have him smiling and media friendly -obviously this was drilled into him by Kenyon, Tenenbaum etc as an absolute necessity for the job. ''Dont be controversial like Mourinhoo was'' The result is smiles, shrugs of the shoulders, and ''This is Football'' bollox.
SamCFC 0
He deserves a chance becuase this is his first big club job and probably adjusting to being a club manager again. Im still not a fan of his Wenger-like 'play football at all times' style, he should have watched Arsenal because it doesnt work. Its ok a big open game but when a team has got 11 players behind the ball we need to learn how to force it in again.
EskWeston 696
I don't think sacking him is the answer! It is clear he WANTS to add to his squad to get them playing the way he wants! He should be given time but he should also be given money to build a better squad!
