the wes 7,212
Michael Mancienne was today recalled to Chelsea and he may now play in their FA Cup tie against Southend as they deal with an injury to Alex and with captain John Terry still suspended. Wolves are still looking to bring back the 20-year-old once Chelsea’s injury situation eases. Mancienne’s emergency loan spell at Wolves had been due to be extended to January 29, but the completion of the paperwork was suspended as Chelsea reviewed their options following injury and suspension worries. Aesthetic Relic 301
I've never seen him play tbh. With the reviews he gets and his call up to the England side he must have something, so it would be good to see him in the flesh and make a proper judgement on him. misschief 24
Wolves wont be happy, they really like Mancienne there. I think its a good move for us to get him back, its looking more likely Alex will go and the way JT and Carvalho's fitness have been this season, there's no point risking being without cover. Besides, its about time we started using some of our younger players instead of farming them out all the time.

BlueLion. 21,491
Ivanovic and Carvalho are fit at the moment, and JT will be back next week, do we really need to recall him, or will he just be sat on the bench?
Fulham Broadway 17,363
Ivanovic and Carvalho are fit at the moment, and JT will be back next week, do we really need to recall him, or will he just be sat on the bench? Same old -either too many or not enough defenders. He's done exceptionally well at Wolves, instrumental in why they're flying. The way this club is behaving, he'll probably be flogged off to Villa or something.....
BlueLion. 21,491
I think the way he has handled the Championship shows he can cut it at that level. IMO, he should be loaned out to a lower Premier League team where he is likely to play every game.
