the wes 7,212
JOSE MOURINHO has backed Luiz Felipe Scolari to overcome his rocky patch at Chelsea. One win in five home games in the league has led to questions about boss Big Phil's tactics. Ex-Blues manager Mourinho, now Inter Milan chief, said: "Chelsea is a very well organised club. It has a good structure. "I think Scolari is well surrounded and protected. "And, after all, he was Brazilian national coach. From a coaching point of view that is not difficult, but from a social point of view it is very difficult. "It is the kind of place where everyone thinks he is a coach and everyone thinks they are better than the national coach. "There cannot be a job which has more pressure than that. From that point of view Scolari is quite well prepared." The Blues travel to Everton on Monday for the start of their crucial Christmas period. The Sun Edited December 20, 2008 by the wes
Kez 2,727
I wonder if he'd be saying that if we had them in the CL
BlueLion. 21,491
I'm pretty confident the home form will improve. Yes, we've dropped a lot of points, but draws at home to United and Spurs, and loses to Liverpool and Arsenal aren't totally horrifying results, they're all decent teams, and you couldn't begrudge West Ham and Newcastle a point after their spirited performances. My point is that we've faced the majority of the better sides as home so far this season, and our next three games at the Bridge are against West Brom, Stoke and Boro, which you would assume would lead to 9 more points - then our record at home would read 6 wins, 4 draws and 2 losses, which is looking a lot more positive. Laylabelle 9,534
Bloody better or we're screwed lol And yeh your right,Arsenal had an offside goal, scum deflected so not so bad. Spurs was annoying considering they were crap but now none of the top 4 have won against them not so bad Just frustating we're great away and at home it all goes a bit wrong.Need a repeat of opening day or against Sunderland to boost it all up... BlueLion. 21,491
Exactly, its just confidence. The lads aren't used to losing at home, so losing against Liverpool and Arsenal has knocked the morale a bit. A couple of wins in a row and it'll all be right again.
