Last season - dragged down by shitty managers.

This season - dragged down by an above average coach working with a shitty roster of players.

The one constant - Clownlake.

What sign of our play tells you Poch is 'above average coach'?

You keep banging on about Maatsen as if hes some sort of top LB. Hes not. We have bigger problems than Chilwell/Cucurella at LB. Much bigger.

Cope. He’s been nominated for bundesliga young player of the month so he’s clearly doing alright , has a better future than Ben donkwell

all I said was , the touted switch to back 3 would have made more sense if he hadn’t got rid of maatsen considering chilwell is washed

His abilities are reminiscent of Raphaël Guerreiro, who was always moving between No.6 and 8 positions. It’s a lot of fun to watch him deliver across the board,” said Dortmund head coach Edin Terzić of Maatsen’s versatility. The energetic all-rounder’s arrival has coincided with something of a resurgence at BVB, who are the only team that won all three of their Bundesliga fixtures in January, scoring a league-leading nine goals and conceding just once. Their new flying Dutchman has been everywhere, putting in 11.6 kilometres and 33 sprints per game, whilst reaching a top speed of 21.6 mph (35.1 km/h). Only Alphonso Davies and Justin Njinmah were faster in January.

I have zero fucking sympathy with anyone at this club for allowing Maatsen to go but they kept shoe horning Colwill in at LB and he was grabage.

Maatsen was more than capable of coming in and doing a really good job, but once again it was household names over balance and what was needed. LC will never and never will be a LB

I am pretty certain it was more to do with balancing the books. If Maatsen came in and did well, then he would be hard to sell. The same issue applies to Gallagher. You can tell the club want him (Gallagher) gone under all circumstances but it is now tricky as he has played so much due to injuries and the fans like him more than 95% of the players they've brought.

If it is true about the players wanting to leave already ala Enzo... then the lad can fuck off in all honesty. Don't want that pathetic mentality playing in Blue. If he has been performing at the highest level, carrying the team on his back then I could understand frustration but he has been poor this season. He has no right to feel such a way. None of these players bar Palmer do to be honest.

Having said that, if this is true, surely the club will choose to replace the gaffer than multiple players.

Unpopular opinion but here goes, I don't even think Palmer has been that "great" he's just better than the rest so he stands out, but if we are really honest with ourselves his performances are ok, the rest of the players are just absolute garbage.

I was thinking this during the Wolves game, he's had his moments of magic absolutely but it's easy to shine when the others are so so so bad.

Nice guy but it seems he just isn't a winner. He didn't get us over the line today. I think the players do let him down on many occasions with their finishing but in the end of the day... the buck stops with the manager. If Klopp can get his babies to play with more passion and energy in a final... there is no excuse.

I still think he should continue and we need to get better defense. The board has done horrible in wasting money with the defender we have.

Disasi and Badishille as long with Fofana.

And did not spent money on strikers.

I blame it on the board.
