Jonny 2
Hi everyone, should we believe the rumours that Poch could bring Kane with him this summer? Personally I think that would be brilliant. What do you think ? Edited April 30, 2023 by Jonny
Gundalf 806
Idk man, guy is hella expensive and is turning 30 in 2 months. Could be a typical Chelsea striker signing that turns out a flop or 5 years too late.
Jonny 2
Take your point but he strikes me as a man who looks after himself and still has something to prove and win. So far this season he's second only to Haaland. I'd be very excited to see what Poch could do with this squad without European games, fresher players etc. AND an out and out striker with Prem experience. Pizy 18,944
Levy would die before selling their greatest ever PL player to us. Not when the Spuds fans are already calling for his head. He’d never be able to show his face at that stadium again if he sold us Kane and saw us hire Poch who many of their supporters want back.

Feel like he'll stay at Spuds (to get the goalscoring record in PL) or if he really wants trophies to finish off his career then Bayern Munich would be perfect. OneMoSalah 8,886
If he’d rather be remembered for being Spurs’ top goalscorer winning 0 trophies let him. No point scoring 250 goals if your not going to win any trophies whilst doing it. Agree with Souness on his comments about the Kane interview the other day. The guys got a loser mentality for me. Always something.

Perhaps - but great players tend to be remembered more for winning trophies. Suppose they can make him a being a god at Tottenham trophy. For example, Alan Shearer was a phenomenal striker in terms of strike rate but only won 1 major honour at club level so when people talk about the greatest PL strikers, guys like Aguero, Henry, Rooney, Andy Cole, Bergkamp, usually all crop up before he is - maybe unfair in some regards because he is the PL top scorer of all time but its probably because he only won 1 trophy. Trophy's are teams efforts in a way, shearer goal record is his own I suppose, personally I'd rather play at Chelsea all my life and win nothing but become a legend, than move to arsenal or spurs or utd and deffo Liverpool to win something.
