The only place to be 11,313
Rafa as a coach is just fine. Soon, all you doubters & your cloudlessness will be proved otherwise. If I didn't care about the club, or like it in any way, shape or form then I might agree with you.But I couldn't stand him being our manager. He can get us top four and fuck off. That means praying Swansea beat us in the League Cup, hoping Brentford do us in the FA Cup and also looking for a two-leg Sparta Prague victory.I'd also double his pay-off if he took Torres with him. I'm not sure how slavery works but surely he'd be inclined to take Nando as his own personal butt-boy.Would be very strange if true. Emenalo wasn't at the club in Mourinho's time and he is nowhere near as powerful as Arnesen. Where did you read that?Mourinho doesn't like working under DoF's from what I've read. I have no idea of his personal opinion on Emenalo.

Sheva. 5,373
Lol... When I was writing that, I had a feeling you would mention him. What can I say, AVB just didn't cut the mustard. He was destined to be a failure at a club of our stature and a mediocre success at a club the size of Spurs.] I hate AVB now after his stupid comments over the summer, but i feel he would have done better with this team. It's a huge difference playing with Hazard, Oscar, Mata, Moses and possibly Falcao next season - than Mata, Kalou, Malouda, Anelka and two inconsistent strikers. didierforever 7,349
Can you put Arsene Wenger in the poll? Not doubting him, there's also the fact our team is very different than the one he had here before. We've gone for smaller less physical players, how will Mourinho park the bus in big games with this team? i reckon we're looking in other directions.he played against barcelona and won at camp nou and won a 2 legged tie of the spanish version of fa cup, and he did this without ever parking the bus against the best club in the world (going by the number of trophies won in the last 4-5 years). i think this is a very wrong assumption that jose is a defensive coach. dont forget that madris scored 121 goals in 38 league matches which cant be done by parking the bus. he simply does what is the best for the team and to generalize that jose is a defensive coach would be wrong in my opinion... The only place to be 11,313
What about David Moyes? I think his contract with Everton expires at the end of the season. Are we really going to go into Moyes territory? Firstly, I have no idea if his philosophy of football works with the types of players we've got. If we're really going down that road then why not Roberto Martinez? He gets a shit team playing some nice football, he develops young players and I can't think of a third reason.....Oh, he's not some fat cunt called Benitez. royg 96
I respect and loved Jose but with all the negativity he brings will greatly hurt our club once again. (If the negatitviy from the current media wasnt enough), and after 1 or 2 yrs he will seek another club to challenge himself. Like Dan Levene said on his twitter, "The day Chelsea sacked Ancelotti, the club ceased to be in contention for top coaches. Now it's the unproven or the unemployed for us." Then there was a lot of pressure on him to release the shackles and let his team play football against them, he listened and they've been doing better against Barca recently. But Chelsea are nowhere near as good as Madrid, i won't be surprised if he reverts to defensive tactics at another club.(Mind you, Mourinho also played defensive against Bayern last season)

Kostas 1,468
Mourinho doesn't like working under DoF's from what I've read. That's almost certainly true.I have no idea of his personal opinion on Emenalo. Then again Emenalo is not your typical DoF (that's not even his job title) and he holds nowhere near as much power as the people who Mourinho have clashed with in the past like Arnesen and Valdano. He's much more like Zidane as far as his role is concerned. As a matter of fact Emenalo isn't even part of Chelsea's board.

What happened to "we don't care about Rafa, all we care about is Chelsea FC"The long-term future of Chelsea club is more important than a few cups this season. It's why I've said we still need to finish top four. And I've never actually sung that song. Firstly I'm not a big fan of chanting against the team at matches, and secondly it's a shit chant. DYC. 7,542
The club loves high profile managers so we might as well appoint Sven Goran Eriksson. He probably wouldn't last long but it would be a fun and interesting ride for sure.
