Due to the lack of options*, and now that Guardiola's out of the picture, I have a strong feeling it'll be either Benitez or Jose at the helm next season.

I honestly doubt it. His deep desire to win has made him to accept winning ways only.

When he makes the decision to fire the manager, there is a good reason whether acceptable to the fans or not.

If you were real fans that really loved our team, you would not be on here calling current manager " Tubby ", or sit here abusing Torres, whether you wanted him here or not, & for those attending our home games, booing the team off & abusing the manager. Do you see any other fans doing this ?

Jose Mourinho is the best available option out there. There is simply no one better. Imagine Mourinho in the Press Conference after the Hazard ball-boy nonsense. He wouldn't have buckled like Rafa did. He would've fired back saying - "Why was the ball-boy on the ball in the first place?". Completely hypothetical ofcourse, because under Jose, you wouldn't see Chelsea losing 2-0 at home

Also, Joachim Loew? Manuel Pellegrini? David Moyes? How long would they last? For Roman to be patient, the manager who takes over should have some pedigree. He was patient with Ancelotti - yes..he gave him the whole season in 2010-11 but not with di Matteo or Scolari or the others. I can think of only 2 managers who can command the respect of Abramovich right now. One of them has joined Bayern Munich and the other is under enormous pressure at Real Madrid

Another thing about getting Mourinho in is that suddenly we'll go from being the 3rd best team in England to be considered alongside the Manchester clubs. Plus, he has unfinished business to win the Champions League with an English club. Makes perfect sense from our point of view if Mourinho's interested.

Since there is no chance for Roman to stay with Rafa & there is a lovely rumor that Chelsea are looking towards D. Moyes as Chelsea´s next manager, I would be inclined to see him at Stamford Bridge.

He has done remarkable job at Everton.

He would be my 1st choice & then Jose.

Wonder why is that so? Might be because their owners and fans don't call for sacks every bad spell the club has. I hope young coaches like Klopp and so on never come here, they deserve better, someone who gives them time, trust, finances and respect. All this Rafa slating has been blown out of porportions, it's a personal vendetta if anything. Our squad is just that weak. In real life do you guys shake a winners hand and say well played or do you mumble something and insult, accuse, blame everyone for the loss? The name doesn't play, the fact that our players are better known doesn't alone make them better players. We've got more then a few players in the squad who are nowhere near the level they used to be or will never reach the level expected at a club like Chelsea. Marin, Bertrand, Turnbull, Torres, Ferreira, Benayoun and even Lampard and Terry aren't on the level needed to be. Plus Malouda. So much money paid for wages, so little result. Time to sort this squad out and STICK to a manager.

Now my first thought isn't negative, and it isn't positive. I'll be honest.....I've watched Everton a number of times over the last decade and I'd struggle to guess what type of football we'd be playing next season. That's not necessarily a bad thing but I'm just wondering if I'm alone in that.
