I am curious who decides about coaches?? Todd? who doesnt know anything about football? Or someone else..

And if they look at Kompany, why not check and Xabi Alonso, whos doing great at Leverkusen

Why are you blaming the owners? I thought it was the footballing experts at the club who is doing the work to find the new manager.

I doubt Alonso would be interested, he has barely started his career at Leverkusen

Kompany would be the same as Potter, he'd jump at the chance.

Or he'll see that he needs more experience first and be sensible. Hasn't been in management long and it's a huge risk for him...and us but that doesn't matter cause that's how they roll

Have to say I am not a massive fan of potch. Never have been. But I listened to a fella a while ago talk about why he could be good for us and its swayed me a bit. His development of younger players whilst at Spurs, he got a habitual team of losers within touching distance of a league and champions league which no one has even come close to with that load of bottlers. He also had them playing good football for the most plus he's actually managed in the prem AND he even made dele and Danny rose look like decent players....I mean fucking hell!!! I'll temper expectations if he comes but I'm no longer completely against it. That being said my expectations are at a 30 odd year low

Some sources tell us Chelsea had doubts over Nagelsmann, some sources tell us Nagelsmann had doubts over Chelsea. In the end, they both had doubts ig and decided to not make out with each other.

Disappointing  missing out on Naglesmann but not remotely surprised he didn't want to join.

As for Poch, i'm surprised he is interested after we already snubbed him for potter, massive insult there. I think he can do well. I massively rated his 2016 team, the one with Wanyama , dembele and eriksen bossing the midfield and flying fullbacks. I remember they smashed UTD 3-0 and it could have been much more, they were super impressive that day and looked like a team who could win the league. 

Hopefully we will be able to recruit some more powerful players for midfield like he had there, along with a killer striker. He didn't win anything at spurs but came way closer than literally anyone else and built them up too. i'd back poch to succeed under roman , under this guy, maybe.

Considering that all of the options had something underwhelming about them, Pochettino wouldn't be that big of a disaster. 

However, if we go for Kompany or Arne Slot who, in my opinion, is the "mystery man", it's not good news at all.
