It would be the most Chelsea thing ever if we somehow beat City on Sunday and prolong our suffering with Sarriball.

I'm struggling to see how we beat Malmo never mind City.

This is Chelsea we're talking about. We like to surprise people when you least expect it but not that I'm holding out for hope or anything like that.

we should dispatch Malmö

but I have a real problem seeing us beating (in our current state)

Napoli (they have to be the favourites overall, a superior team to us, the only players we have who would start are Kepa, Rudiger, Kante, and Hazard (either he or Isigne would have to move to the RW)

Inter (provided they sort Icardi)

Sevilla (provided they knock out Lazio, and they are up nil 1 going back home)

and will perhaps struggle mightily with

Arsenal

RB Salzburg (if they beat Brugge (who won one nil at home, and have a couple superb players), remember they DESTROYED RB Leipzig

Eintracht Frankfurt

Bayer Leverkusen

Benfica

perhaps even

Valencia

Villarreal

we REALLY need a lucky draw

IF we

had to go through

4 of those first 8 teams, including 2 or all 3 of the first 3

there is almost no chance we win

KILLS me to say that, just kills me!

my dog how far we have fallen

Don't think either are equipped to do it.

ZZ might have the skills to deal with divas but hes never had to re build a team and thats what we will need if only for contracts running out and leavers. Not including all the ones that need upgrading!

The jobs far too big for Frank. Maybe as a number 2 but not on his own.

Magic Box the same. Hes just not good enough to be full manager here.

I really don't know who to suggest!

I bet heavyweights are Alonso, Azpi, Luis, Barkley, not sure for Pedro, Willian and Kante.. But man same story all over again.

Every single one of the them except Kante can go fuck themselves on general principle and need to sold this summer.

Sarri out too.

The team needs to be sold. Fish rots from the head down.

I will be praying it's not another Italian manager they are so stubborn ZZ could be the key for Hazard to sign a new deal after all Hazard did say in an interview it would be a dream to play under ZZ

It is very hard to love this club at times.

The solution is always fire the manager if we don't have success from day dot.

When will it become apparent that it isn't the manager, but maybe the players? Are we going to sit here and pretend, that aside from AVB and RDM, we haven't had world class, after world class manager come through?

There are clearly a lot of kinks to be worked out in our game. Clearly. But we clearly don't have the players we need to play this style of football. Clearly.

When are the players ever going to be held accountable? Did the marvelous Pep do well in his first season? I thought he was one of the best ever? Oh, he only managed to win after spending the most money in a transfer window ever? Oh my, how did he do it? Was he sacked his first season too?
Why does Klopp get the benefit of the doubt and time to make something happen? Why has it worked out for him? Was it possibly due to being given time, and being able to test what players work in his system?

Sarri plays a beautiful game. We just don't have the players to play it at the moment. Not just that, we have some toxic players in our club. Those who have requested to be shipped out. Do it. Gladly. Every single one of them.

Doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results is the definition of crazy. Does the club, or some of you supporters think it is just going to magically find a manager that will stay here 10 years and build a legacy and brand of football given our current ways? No. Hell no. None of them feel relaxed enough, or feel they have enough time to implement their gameplan. I'm glad Sarri isn't changing his methods in game. The players haven't even learned how to effectively play his game. Why should he change, when he can't even get his gameplan in motion and build an image/style for the club?

Infuriating. Give him time. Tell all these diva players to get out. Don't care how talented they are.

Rot starts at the top with Roman and the board. Club needs to be sold before they do more damage.

Sarri deserves the sacking. Fraud. Take that little gaslighting tool Zola and leave.

As for players, liquidate all except Kepa, Rüdiger, AC, Ampadu, promote Reece James and Tomori, keep Kante, keep CHO and Eden (doubt either stays), and promote Tammy.

Sell ALL the rest, including most of the loan army, especially all the ex first team deadwood. NONE are good enough anymore and/or time to cash in on rapidly declining players.

We need a complete overhaul and hard reboot. The current course is the death of the club as a world football power.

I fear one of them is CHO though, and I don’t want him pushed out. But it does say ‘heavyweights’ and CHO isn’t one so...

But anyway, it’s impossible to push these players out first before Sarri. If we want to salvage anything this season, Sarri must go before the Spuds game. Deal with these assholes in the summer.

U said it urself "Heavyweights" is the key word :P

CHO, I think is a goner ... it has put into his mind that he wouldnt be given much of a chance here like everyone before him due to how we have handled the youth transition into the main 11.

One thing we can start doing for these heavyweight is giving them less game time ... put the faith into those who want to play/perform if need be get the players back from loan to make a statement. We arent going to finish top 4 anyways this season.
