Hire Sarri and allow him to bring in Jorginho + K2 with him as two of our big signings. Jorginho is being linked with just about all of our rivals who can obviously offer CL football so I doubt we can sign him, but maybe if we take his manager we'd have a leg up on everyone else. He looks like the perfect Fabregas replacement.

Whoever takes over has to be backed, it is that simple. And not backed with Drinkwater's, Zappacosta's etc who although decent squad players are not our level IMO, we need star quality.  

 

Re Sarri i am not worried about the clause actually, i still think even if it drags on for another week or 2, we could still negotiate a tidy fee if he tells them he wants out

when teams hire one of their ex-players to become head coach they usually have a bigger and better legacy than he made with us.but out of our ex-players he`s probably one of the best coaches..done a nice job with Fulham.

Bakayoko, Drinkwater, Zappacosta, etc were the playeres that Conte wanted. He always prefer hard working and athletic players, no one fault but his own. His football brand and player management is unattractive also. Top players wouldn't want to play for him. 

No question we need to spend more, but more importantly we need to spend smarter to begin with.

Really hope this shit is resolved within the next week so I don't have to read and worry about us appointing some jerkoff that's completely unqualified. Don't think I could stand the speculation for a month or more.

Get it all done so we can enjoy the World Cup and scout some players. All I know is that if we appoint Jakonovic or someone else that's a huge risk we can surley kiss Hazard goodbye. We need s manager who has proven himself at the to level and commands instant respect from our players.
