Antonio8 736
tbh, we did not deserve to lose. in this period there is also a bit of unluckyness. from our chance to score they have a counter and score, come on. felix played well, also the WBs, enzo. something begin to appear IMO Fernando and bohops
Special Juan 28,140
I can certainly see and feel things starting to get better, there was some good play last night, and I will say this again, I really do not rate Dortmund one bit, middle of the road side. Saturday is fucking massive because if we struggle against the worst side in the country and fail to get anything other than 3 points, then fuck me he will have a lot to answer for. Absolutely no reason not to go at them and take them apart them apart Jayteezy, Johnnyeye and Fernando

Being a grown man and spending a tonne of money following football is nothing to be proud of. The match going lot should focus on creating an actual atmosphere instead of pretending they are superior online. I remember those fools blaming Hazard and fabregas for getting Jose sacked. Problem is your constantly moaning about the thing you moaned for in the first place. So… You claim that buying way to success, what imho is nothing to be especially proud of, is what makes us elite club? Not the performances? And, besides spending this much, we shouldn't consider ourselves god given to be in top 6? Can't imagine City fans getting all hyped up, because in 12th game without win their team managed to play 90 minutes against worse opponent with only one major error and lose. And then gaffer comes out and says we tried, but were unlucky. There is time to be humble and time to be honest. This is nothing else than mid-table mentality and fall of standards and I still cannot comprehend where it came from for so many people. The standards were understandably lowered for Lampard who was inexperienced and hit with transfer ban, however even he managed to deliver not only results, but also individual players development (apart from all the things he's done wrong ofc). But now? People act like they were supporting 6 years olds on sunday league for whatever reason. Before missing out on top4, not even mentioning missing out on EL, was unimaginable and deadly sin for this team. We were not relegated, bankrupted, stripped of players and points, so the whole change was supposed to be for the better, right? So why should we act like mid-table was our pipe dream level now? You can love Potter for whatever reason You do and have full right to have it this way. However no amount of philosophical debate whether we should demand anything from elite club and investments or not will cover how the reality looks. You may call it entitlement, I'd call it proper level of ambition for a truly elite team or one that wants to be such. On this level, drawing is considered a loss. Meanwhile we apply the mid-table level of success judgement, expectations and demands to the team. People seem to be all happy, because "Potter coached the win", whatever it means (ever head such bs in Chelsea context before?), we had good xG and "good game". Well, it was the hallmark of GP's "success" in Brighton, right? High xG, "good game" and finishing 16th due to inability to make anything out of it. All that is happening and being said by either GP on conferences or people supporting him would be great and understandable, if we were contenders for top 12. So maybe it's time for everyone to their own to answer the question whether we are aiming for top 12, or top 1, because all further judgement depends on this. Sorry ”bruv” but you are ignorant as feck now. No doubt you can walk outside and have a chat with old Tom about yesterday game. But do you think its your conversation that made Boehly buy the club? Do you think its the match attending fans who make PL the worlds most attractive league? No its not. Why Boehly bought the club and why PL is the Nr. 1 league in the world is because of the millions of million people who cares and watch the games from abroad every single week and weekend. The same ”internet fans” who gladly stand up for the club in their workplaces, in the school yard, on internet forums or wherever it might be. Alot of the ”internet fans” are paying hundreds of punds every year for TV subscriptions to be able to watch the games and they buy merch and other stuff. Now, there is also ”internet fans” who watch the games on pirate streams because they might not have the money needed for TV subscription. But they will happily take a punch in the face defending the club from Scouse or Arse abuse somewhere in Cacun or Beirut. If anything its the fortunate match attending fans who should take a big look in the mirror and instead of beeing swanky about it focus on how they can contribute to make the atmosphere better because right now its a distaster and certaintly one of the reasons the team is performing bad at home. Vegetable 830
I'd be surprised if Potter had suddenly thrown himself into this scuffle, yet have to admit, that random and pure shithousery in form of random coaching staff member deciding out of the blue, for absolutely zero reason, to take down the opposition player with a cheeky tackle deserves some love. manpe and Johnnyeye

Problem is your constantly moaning about the thing you moaned for in the first place. Exactly right. Go check videos on Youtube, and people are already calling Felix and Mudryk flops. It is hilarious. This forum is on that level. I remember seeing Auba knock in a goal - and it was - "See what having a proper 9 does". 3 weeks later - apparently he is done, and the writing was on the wall, what a terrible transfer. People flip flop like crazy on here. Go start building a house with timber, then be told half way through, you can actually use sandstone and it is far better - and you to be expected to be up to the same stage as you were before in a matter of minutes. Takes time; two steps forward, three steps back, before we finally take off. Mudryk, Enzo, Badiashille, Felix and Maduake have all looked brilliant to me in patches. Even Dortmund game where people complained Mudryk was trying too hard - he created some beautiful link up play and chances. Same with Felix. Got into all the right places but finishing let him down. We know he can given his goal at West Ham - but just wasn't his day. Maduake was fantastic for me on debut. Badiashille has been a wall, and Enzo has slotted in amazingly into EPL. Chelsea "fans" are spoilt silly. Spend $600 mil and they want success by the form of everyone rolling over and dying against us. Brilliant post, all the replies you will get from this is, "we won't get anywhere with a mid-table manager" now! I for one would like to go the place where elite managers grow on trees and start out elite, please send me the details. I always thought an elite manager became elite, for what he does at clubs over a period of time not 6 months 3 months 2 weeks or instantly like some in here think it works. Pep and klopp examples, but wait! Hold up! Wait a minute! "Yes they didn't start well at all!!!! But you could tell what they was trying to do" yet no one actually said that at the time, all they said is they were flopping!!! Now all of a sudden to find there agenda, they could miraculous see what they was trying to do!!!!! Full of shit!!!

You don't normally give a mid table manager a job at a top team on the off chance he becomes an elite manager. The odds of potter getting to the top were always slim, nothing he achieved before joining Chelsea suggested otherwise. Klopp got to two finals and was playing good attacking football so yes some people did see the potential at the time. And he had a track record with Dortmund so it was worth being patient with him. Doing nothing at Brighton doesn't afford you the same luxury Having a track record in a 2 league tema is no more impressive than what potter did at Brighton, just because a manager comes from a "mid table" doesn't make him a mid table manager, infact look at what Brighton are doing now that 95% down to potter, he built them up over 3 years and they are now above us playing better than us, this bullshit elite players argument is tragic, if he can get mid table players playing then there is no reason what so ever he can't get elite players playing either. Is there an example in recent premier league history of a mid table manager joining a top team and doing well. It seems like they are usually out of their depth. Moyes at UTd and Santo at spurs. There is also a reason why English managers have never won their own premier league, because they suck ass
