Except chants for Tuchel? 😂 Btw, don't even get me started on "local fans argument".

Suggesting Boehly has blind trust in Potter seeing those scenes is actually insulting him, yet again I wonder whether people taking bliss in sticking to Potter are actually supporting the club or just trolling and wanting it to fail, like seriously.

Loosing to last team in table with interim manager on own ground is sackable offence itself at this level, not even to mention previous 15 games.

If it makes your life better to spend several hours per day moaning about Potter, then go for it. I for myself always want to support the people who are working for this club and just hope it gets better. I just chose not to be the grumpy old guy.

There's definitely a few people on here who take pleasure in telling us potter is here to stay no matter how many games we lose. Certain people who call others fraudulent fans too. Have to wonder who they really support

Just patience fans who dont have a total meltdown when their club goes thru a tough period in the hope that continuity will help the club to be successful again.

Definitely better than some plastic fans who think everything is about silverware and probably only became fan of the club bc it was winning stuff.

Someone should inform the owners that the club won't have higher draft pick if we finish lower in the table ...

On a serious note, he's the most deserving of sack since I've been a fan (2004). There are clearly talented players in the squad, they just constantly look like a national team who have few training sessions together. Ok, when we play on the counter then we look quite decent but when it comes to breaking down teams I've never actually seen Chelsea being this bad at doing so. Complete lack of ideas other than endless crosses. And he's got more time to coach these players during the season than any other manager recently - 4 goals scored this year in 10 games ! Shocking. What a waste of time.

I think there would be zero tension in this thread if only people would understand the small detail that most of (reasonable) people calling for managerial change are not seeing the idea of sticking to a single manager for while as a problem, but the person of Potter himself and his lack of capacity to handle such project at this level.

Like seriously, if we've gotten, say, Conte in and decided to support him no matter what, hardly anyone except some reactionists would complain.

And why you are trying to take some personal stabs on people with different view on the matter of Graham freaking Potter I cannot understand. Not quite worth it man.

If we were playing with improvements but just unlucky then fair enough. But we aren't. There's the only spark and then it's gone and back to playing crap and it's been like that week in week out. It's a shame but it isn't working. There's no point going into another season hoping for it to change because it won't. Unless like said they're happy with midtable finish then it's fine for next season...

Today is definitely a bit of a tipping point for me as it was just a completely unforgiveable performance and result.

I'm all for giving time and patience so long as there is progress. That doesn't necessarily mean always in results. In recent games, we were looking more solid in defence and against West Ham and Dortmund there were signs of the attack starting to click and create chances, albeit not over a consistent manner of 90 minutes.

But today was so devoid of anything remotely positive. At some stage the manager has to be held more accountable when this is what is being turned out. A period of transition is all fine and well, but losing at home to Southampton deservedly is simply not.

Bc there are people who get personal and are questioning the fandom only bc some dont want the manager to be sacked after a few months. Thats also personal.

Let me get it straight: I dont rate Potter as someone who can have a direct impact on a team, to instantly make a team better, there are a lot of coaches who are a lot better in this. Also at Brighton it took him 2 years to get fully going. (Brighton fans had the same discussions about him in his first year there). BUT I consider Potter as someone who can work well in a long term, implementing a philosophy, a structure, a DNA for the next decades. He may be a bad coach in terms of direct impact, but he can build a system. And I think this is what Boehly wants to achieve. No coincidence that Boehly initially wanted to hire Christoph Freund from RB Salzburg as well, as the Red Bull football teams have this kind of system, DNA, structure to perfection. Everyone, from the 10yo academy players to the senior team is on the same page. The system comes first, and every player that is bought, every new coach that is implemented has to follow this structure. And I think this is what Boehly and Potter want to achieve and build.
Chelsea had so many different coaches over the last few years, everyone with their own philosophy, demands on transfer market and so on and tbf, this is a outdated view on football. Hire and fire is over.  Over the last 15 years, Chelsea has lost its DNA. What is Chelsea FC, what does it stand for? What philosophy is there?

When Potter was announced I literally said that I dont expect us to be any good for 2 years but that it will benefit us in the long term. And I still think it will.

Even though I was leaning towards Potter out last week... the Dortmund game gave me hope but today was a disgrace. If he isn't sacked within 24 hours, I'll be shocked.. it's about to get extremely toxic everywhere you turn for Chelsea fans.
