Literally none.

But the problem is Giroud wants to leave and the manager clearly doesn’t seem to rate Tammy who has only two years left on his contract so what’s the solution? Can’t expect Havertz and Werner to play every match.

If we can’t get Haaland which of these options would you want or maybe 2

lukaku

Ings

Schick

Isak

Moffi

We will get Haaland as reports have emerged of us making a bid of that same region as Dortmund are expecting. Haaland is a deal which we have to make keeping our future in mind as no one has the same potential. Haaland is the heir to Drogba. We have make the deal eminent this season.

Not sure that 90min source is worth anything.

Not only this channel but there are multiple other sources have revealed the same but the amount is close to 150 mil. Barca are trying to offload their Griezmaan shit to us to reduce the wages but they should loom somewhere else. We are not here to cash on lame rejects.

I could absolutely see us panic buying Danny Ings on deadline day after fucking about and failing everywhere else.

Actually wouldn’t be a bad buy, tbh. He’s the sort of striker who wouldn’t stand in our way of pursuing Haaland or someone else next summer and would remain a great squad option for several years.

Could see Ings bagging 15 PL goals in our team for sure.

The noises are we will do a January 2020 as opposed to Summer 2017.

If we can't get the top or atleast a suitable target we will look elsewhere.

If the club were to sell Tammy and Giroud and had exhausted all possibilities of a Haaland deal then I wouldn't be completely against us buying Ings if the price was right. Considering he has one year left on his contract, his injury history and age we shouldn't be paying anything over £25m in my opinion. I personally think he's too important to Southampton to sell for that sort of fee and they'd want more. Especially as just keeping him for the final year of his contract would likely be more valuable to them if his goals kept them in the league again.

The important thing is to add quality not just add for the sake of it. If Southampton are asking silly money for him, I'd be loathe to blow a big part of the budget on someone like him. But there does also have to be some consideration in the futures of Tammy and Giroud. I don't mind going into next season with one of them, Werner and Havertz as our main options for the central attacker, but if both were to leave then we would be left incredibly thin (unless Tuchel was planning on someone from loan or the academy stepping in) and therefore we would have to add something to the squad.

He'd be a good rotational option that has a proven goal record in the league and is actually a better technical player than he's probably given credit for (I don't think he would look out of place technically in our squad like some striking options would). And importantly he wouldn't get in the way of potentially a big attacking signing next season.

I wouldn't even mind him the following season on a freebie as an experienced, rotational attacking option. If he doesn't move this summer, he could be a shrewd move for someone next year.

Belotti over Ings. Similar price and situation.

Neither please.

Belotti isn’t a top class side starting CF and neither is Ings. They are enough for a certain level but I’m not sure they would improve our options upfront.

Not for starter of course. We are speaking what if we can't sign top striker, and both Olie and Tammy leave so we continue with Kai. Those are realistic options for backup.

But again, will those guys be allowed to leave if we can’t get in a top CF? I doubt it.

You'd assume not. However Tammy had completely been frozen out. I wouldn't be against Tammy staying but if Tuchel doesn't fancy him then it's pointless.

I would say Giroud was starting to fall into the same bracket. He'd make the bench for pretty much all the games but how much game time did he receive in the final weeks. I don't have the info but I'd assume if was very little.

I don't want us buying for the sake of it, we've been there and suffered as a consequence (we still are in some cases). However we do also need to make sure that Tuchel has a squad that he trusts. I do worry that might not be the case with Tammy and Giroud.

If Tammy starts regularly at his current level of play we are done for. He's simply nowhere near an elite striker any way you look at his game. He lacks so many attributes that it's easier to start with what he has: some pace and decent finishing.

Regarding him as a sub, while I'm not sure he's good enough even for that atm, the first question is whether that role would be of interest to him. If he wants to start games regularly, then he needs to look for a smaller club. That's not going to happen at Chelsea or any other top club... that's why there is no interest from any top club.

He could however, drop a tier and grind game time, and then even improve becoming a good striker in the PL. Don't think CL is where he belongs - his game simply lacks range.

Personally I think he will leave.

Aye it doesn’t look great for Tammy but at the same time, will we get the apparent 35/40m price we want for him? Who’s going to replace him if we aren’t able to get deals for Haaland or Lukaku?

Theres no other real links to CFs which is a huge concern and we hopefully won’t just buy an average player for the sake of it.

It would probably be stupid to sell either of Tammy or Giroud without making a purchase first in that area. Giroud is the only one with any sort of concretely links away as well. Tuchel might have to give him another chance though if we don’t get anyone in.
