If Tuchel didn't rate Lukaku then I don't see this pursuit.

Especially after Tuchel won the CL in his first season and we are led to believe that he has the clubs full backing.

People forget he was so close to joining us in 2017 though, that he had already been here before where he stated he grew up a Chelsea fan and idolised Drogba. He also said he wishes he worked with Conte sooner meaning he probably regrets not signing with us in 2017 or whenever it was.

No credible source is saying that. Even Repubblica which was quoted on last page says Inter's asking price is €130M, and I doubt the club are willing to go even that high.

Inter Milan are targetting Atalanta's Duvan Zapata to replace Romelu Lukaku, whilst #Chelsea's Tammy Abraham could move to Atalanta to replace the Colombian. [

It actually says Inter have two targets in mind - one being Zapata - if Lukaku does end up leaving.

So if we get Lukaku thats Håland done and dusted even next summer. I dont get it, yes im sure he will do just fine here but for only a bit more you get Håland and much longer longevity.
