Well that cannot be the bar to judge a player. If he is good, he will come through ... Mount, James, Odio all were untested but are part of the squad today. So if a player is good and has the determination & attributes, he would succeed ... would need to take a risk.

I don't disagree with the notion but I don't think the CB position is one that you can mess about by putting an untested player in while wanting to challenge and win the major honors. Granted, Tomori himself is not the finished article yet but at the very least, he's got more proven experience than Guehi has so far.

The only issue with Guehi is he's still only 20 years old and still untested in the Premier League. Tomori is a few years older and has more experience at the highest level.

True, it'll be interesting to see Guehi in a full preseason under Tuchel while most of the squad is in Euro's. He might get the best out of him, who knows.

I request where your coming from ... but CB or any other position, feel sometime u need to throw a person the into the deep end & check the result. You need to believe if a player is good and give that faith to him else we are seeing what is happening Tomori ... I feel Tomori is talented and it is a mystery why he is at AC MIlan today instead of being at Chelsea.

I admit, Guehi does look impressive.

Thing with Konate despite his injuries, is his reading of the game. His tackle rate is incredibly low because of it. He has however avoided any injuries this season due to muscular imbalances, so there's hope there.

I want Konate and Guehi a loan move to a prem side.

According to an agent representing Milan or the player more like.

My brother supports Milan, so I watch most of their games with him. I can tell you that this guy is very very good, and the main reason for that is how complete he is as a midfielder.

How many signings do you think we need in the summer?

Depends on what formation we go with. However, I would say the following:

1 x CF - Probably the biggest need owing to our lack of goals.

1 x No.6 (if we keep 3atb) that isn't funsized. Still could do a bigger CM. If we kept 3atb, I would look at SMS.

1 x DMF (if we move back to a back 4). Not sure who we would go for but this would be needed as our midfield do not put up enough resistance in a 4.

1 LCB - This one is less of a need than it looked a couple of months ago. Has potential to be solved by either Guehi or Sarr.

Those however are some tough positions to get. At CF it is very unlikely we woulf get Håland and after that even someone like DCL would be nigh on impossible.

A CM/DMF should be achievable but the issue is the amount of players we have here already. At the moment, we have: Kova, Jorgi, Kante, Billy, Baka, Drinky, RLC, Barkley, Gallagher. Going to have to sell at least two or three and loan couple before we can think about buying.

LCB - This is just generally a tough position to recruit for as everyone wants one and there are only a few of them about of the right level. Lets see what happens.

3 or 4

We need a proper LB backup, because Alonso and Emerson are just not good enough. I hope both of them leave this summer. We also need a CB, a strong presence at the back. A DM is vital, because Kante is the only defensive minded midfielder we have and he needs a backup. The most important one is the striker position because Werner is just unreliable, we need a topclass striker to compete with him.

I think we only need currently only a new striker if Tuchel does not want to give Tammy a fair chance and a creative player in midfield that can create something. Our Defense is solid right now and both Guehi and Ampadu are still coming back.

A championship level CB and a CB playing for a relegated premier league club going to solve our defensive woes?

Tuchel, will, not if, will go to a back 4 at some point once our formation is sussed out. As it inevitably will. NO ONE, bar Silva, can play in a back 4.

You talked as if we are only hunting for Haaland (or whichever striker out there) because Tuchel doesn't fancy Abraham and the manager of this club has a complete say when it comes to transfers. There were already rumors that we want Haaland before Tuchel even took over and rumors about Abraham doesn't fancy staying at the club because we want to sign Haaland.

What kind of defensive woes do we currently have? AC playing like a WC player and Thiago Silva is still WC. Who else is there that would really improve us? Gimenez? He is always injured.

I don't see currently a reason to go back to a back 4. We won titles with that formation

Gary Cahill also played for a then to-be-relegated bolton when we signed him in January 2012. In four months, he was Champions League and FA-cup winner, playing key role in both and in the forthcoming years he pretty much won everything with the club.

Both Ampadu and Cahill will play in bigger club then their current ones, hopefully it will be Chelsea.
