who we have so many injuries? jesus christ

I know, right? Look at this piece of diamond from .com’s article:

“Another player who will definitely not be involved against Preston is Nicolas Jackson, who has joined up with the Senegal squad for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations campaign.

However, our head coach believes that could provide good opportunities for fellow strikers Armando Broja and Christopher Nkunku over the next month, as they both look to regain their full fitness and form following lengthy injuries.”

So we have 3 stirkers(if we consider Nkunku a striker). One just left for Afcon, two “seem to regain fitness”.. Tragic.. And what if Broja regains his fitness? He is still Broja.

What about this Washington kid? He was on the bench many times but only played few minutes, on a lost game. Is he any good? Is he playing for reserves?

every one of these would cost £100m or more (or did)

most, if not all, are worth it

Jude Bellingham
Jamal Musiala
Declan Rice
Rodri
Florian Wirtz
Federico Valverde
Pedri
Gavi
Eduardo Camavinga
Aurélien Tchouaméni
Martin Ødegaard
Warren Zaïre-Emery

Costing £100m is one thing, being worth it is another.

Rice, Rodri, Bellingham 100% worth it yes as all 3 are outstanding and leading players in their positions.

Likes of Musiala, Pedri, Valverde, Tchouameni, Odegaard bordering towards it.

Rest still got a lot to prove before being bracketed as £100m players.

Rice 😂 nowhere near a 100m player

Super young players haven't had the time to build enough muscle mass, which provides protection against injuries.

Yes , too much conditioning and not enough strength. Should be building hamstrings , hip flexors , quads etc not running constantly with no breaks in their schedule. They need to chill with constant games including needless internationals

If that's true caicedo and Enzo are no where near 50m players, rice is outstanding in his position.

Rice is laughable and it's hilarious how some still pretend Arsenal aren't a worse team with him and West Ham a much better team right now.

And we are better for swapping Enzo and caicedo for Kante and jorgi?

Are you saying you wouldn't have taken that swap at that time? Considering the state Kante and Jorgi were in when they were sold compared to Enzo and Caicedo... Kante almost never played and Jorgi was just slow and shit.

What we are seeing is failure at squad building. Too young, too overpriced and too much in a short period of time. Stick that same Enzo or Caicedo in a Shitty, Liverpool or any team with identity and structure and I guarantee they would be regarded among the best. We are just an inexperienced disjointed leaderless bunch of potentials thrown together. Those players may never reach their real levels at Chelsea if we keep going aimless like that. Poch has a mammoth task on his hand.

No I'm simply pointing out, like he suggested arsenal are worse with rice, so my point is and yes we are worse with Enzo and caicedo, the fact is they all cost 100m, so calling rice trash is no different to calling or new midfielders trash, imo I'd take rice over both of them

This story is getting some legs.

Prefer it when others are upfront as well, so I will follow suit, I haven't seen a ton of him beyond the usual YouTube shorts, comps and clips here and there, nothing strikes me that he'd be a success, asking for everyone else's thoughts? As I said, if you haven't watched 90 mins consistently, please don't reply with some dross that he'd do better than what we have etc etc, I would bloody hope so for 120m.
