welp

almost no CF's of quality left on the board now

one really

Victor Osimhen

the rest are never going to happen nows and drop downs and wild gambles

Harry Kane   never going to happen
Lautaro Martínez never going to happen this summer
Arnaut Danjuma  (listed as a CF, but is more of a winger or SS, probably would be my 2nd choice, but a true dice roll)
Jonathan David    (not sold on him, and he is more of an SS atm anyway)
Amine Gouiri    wild gamble

Patrik Schick  wild gamble
Gianluca Scamacca    wild gamble
Evanilson    wild gamble
Noah Okafor  wild gamble
Youssoufa Moukoko wild WILD gamble and is too young for the summer window, would have to be in January, after he turns 18 (thanks Brexit)

Yeah, it doesn’t look like we’re going to be getting another attacker. Which is pretty worrying.

What happens if Sterling picks up a freak injury in match week 3 or something and misses extended time? We’re down to the same super inconsistent attackers as last season.

Looks like our entire season may hinge on all of our attackers taking massive strides forward in their statistical output.

tuchel already said that after fixe defense problems Chelsea will focus in attack

well that was just CF's listed (some are not pure CF's either, like Danjuma and David)

there are still viable wingers out there (Jarrod Bowen for instance), and some who can play CF at times as well

a list of those

(Neymar and/or CR7 are not happening, nor should they)

Just now, Mário César said:

But by then who will be available? It’s the right approach to take given our desperate need for CB’s, but the consequence of focusing all our attention there means that nearly all of the top class attacking talent has been scooped up already.

Unless we can work out some sort of deal with Milan that involves Ziyech I’m not seeing anyone that’s worthy of going to get. We may have to stick with what we have until January when someone may become available.

I think what Tuchel really desires with the signings this summer are players who are clear and obvious upgrades on what we already have. I think any attacking signing we potentially do now should be like Sterling. With the exception of Leão, I’m not sure you can say that any of those names in blue will for sure be better than Pulisic/Werner/CHO/Ziyech in a Chelsea shirt.

If West Ham weren’t such a pain in the ass to deal with I’d love to make a move for Bowen. But they’d probably demand £80m for him at the same time they’re trying to bid some derisory €30m for Broja.

If we can somehow land both Kimpembe & Koundé from here that would be an insane rebuild of our defense in a single window. And it would hopefully mean we never have to see Sarr in a Chelsea shirt again.

Sarr should be sold. I do not see any need to have him in our squad with youngsters/homegrowns like Colwill, Ampadu available.

Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are in direct talks for Presnel Kimpembé deal. Initial request around €60/65m but Chelsea are prepared to submit €45/50m proposal. Work in progress. 🔵 #CFC

PSG consider Kimpembé part of the project - but he can leave in case of good proposal.

Some quotes from Tuchel about Ampadu after our friendly win yesterday. This can be verified in the Chelsea fc website

"Ethan did very well in a good position for him in the middle of a back three,”

"He plays a lot of vertical passes, he did not play from left to right but only penetrated through the lines of the opponent with his passes and sometimes with his dribbling,"

“He was very active, and it was a good match for him. He also is training very well.” the manager said after the game

Feels like if we want Koundé still we’ll have to be super quick and Tuchel has to speak directly to the player to convince him. Otherwise, if we just speak to Sevilla and offer the money we risk Raphinha 2.0 where Barca will swoop in with their fake Monopoly money and hijack it.

There have been reports over the past year that he was desperate to come here so hopefully that desire is still true.

If Sevilla demand to pay release clause, I doubt that Barcelona will go forward with Koundé.

lets see
