I still think this is an incredibly risky bet when the last thing we need in our back line is another risk. It’s hard to imagine anyone coming in and not being better than Tosin or Badiashile, but is this 20 year old kid with ~30 top flight matches under his belt in Ligue 1 what a team that’s super naive and all over the shop needs? Surely not, right? Should be going for Senesi, ride it out until the summer when we can clear out Tosin, Badiashile, and Disasi, and THEN either go for a young CB like Jacquet or assess Anselmino and Sarr. I REALLY like him, but 65m euros is madness when, from what I am seeing, Inter MAY entertain offers for BASTONI in the summer for 80m euros (he may be open to going to a huge club in another league, Pool are all hot and bothered atm over it (as would I be, lol).
