I thought this Simons would get done, now I am sure it won't, there are too many moving parts that are not marrying up now and reliant on players being shifted out. I reckonn it won't be Lopez, won't be Simons and will only be Garnacho Exactly. We’re probably still demanding twice what anyone would ever pay for him and that’s what’s holding everything up. Same with Jackson. We’ll end up keeping Nkunku, loaning Jackson, and probably getting only Garnacho this week. Which would turn this from a very promising window to a super underwhelming one. Special Juan 28,149
Here we go soon for Garnacho, 35-40M is a very good price. I'm not a assive fan of his but I prefer him to Gittens, his signing was bizarre and whilst I will give him time I think Garnacho will be the one who shines. kexik

Pizy 18,958
After all this excitement we’re actually going to end this window with only fucking Garnacho. 🤦♂️ With us having been after him hard for 2 straight windows he better come in and be amazing. Otherwise the supporters should hound the directors out of the club for spending a combined almost 100m on what look like 2 bang average LW’s. There could be logic in selling Jackson for a lower fee than the club's estimate of his true value if that sale then allowed us to complete the purchase of a priority target. If, however, that deal can only be completed at a fee which does not allow us to complete the purchase of a priority target then what would be the point of proceeding? If all we do is lose money, and value, while still being unable to bring in the players we want, we may as well just hang on to Jackson or any other player in a similar situation. OhForAGreavsie 6,078
I think the real flaw in the strategy during this transfer window may, and I stress may, have been to over estimate the amounts achievable from the sales of Jackson and Nkunku. I say may because, until the window closes, we can't really know whether or not the club has accomplished what it set out to do. It is possible that, had the club realised it might not achieve the necessary value from those sales it may well have reordered at least one incoming transfer. If the club genuinely saw Gittens as a higher priority than Simons or Garnacho then fair enough. If they miscalculated however, then that error is going to put our squad development back at least 6 months and probably more. The club may have badly overestimated how much other clubs would value these two. We probably figured we’d be able to comfortably make near what we paid for Nkunku and probably thought that with so many clubs super desperate for a striker that we’d easily be able to double our money on Jackson. After these things didn’t happen all summer we have then started to hope that clubs like Newcastle or Villa would get really desperate and just throw money at us. But even that hasn’t happened. Other clubs are calling our bluff.
Special Juan 28,149
Romano has been on live and said Spurs will not go near Simons unless Chelsea move away from the transfer, it's blocked for Spurs right now and talks are advanced.
