Chelsea Transfers

You’d think all these clubs would’ve got the message by now about loans. Feels like we’ve told everyone numerous times now NO LOANS and yet we keep seeing them ask.

As for the mystery club interested in Xavi, I could definitely see it being Liverpool. And the reason they’re not making their interest oublic is because they’re waiting on the Isak situation to resolve itself. Dutch manager, Dutch players in their team. It makes sense that they’d be interested.

Some Romano updates

Fabrizio Romano on Garnacho and Simons:

🗣 "From what I'm hearing, Chelsea believe that Garnacho has, first of all he has a lot of potential, can develop into a really, really important player.

“Garnacho turned 21 in July this year. He's still very young. So Chelsea see a value in him. Now we will see what's going to be the fee, if it's £30m, £35m, £40m.

"They [Chelsea] believe that this is a player probably worth a completely different amount of money.

“So Chelsea believe that this is a big, big opportunity on the market. They really like the player. They like his potential, and they are convinced in a different environment after difficult months at Manchester United, he can really turn into an important player, a key player for Enzo Maresca.

"For Xavi Simons, I would say that the deal is on a good way to happen. I expect the deal to happen also, because in this case, Simons has been very clear.

“There were several opportunities, but I can tell you, Xavi only wants to go to Chelsea. Xavi made clear to his family, his agents, all the people close to him several times, and also to all the other clubs interested. So Xavi is basically waiting for Chelsea.

"I maintain my position. Chelsea want to sell at least two players before bringing in Garnacho and Simons. These two players are Jackson and Nkunku.

“Simons keeps waiting for Chelsea, wants to go to Chelsea, believes that Chelsea is the perfect opportunity for him, and so he's patiently waiting. But I expect this deal to happen."

They are just testing the water to see if we have become desperate enough yet. Clubs are clearly expecting that we will eventually have to cave.

Apparently UEFA has conformed that only the sales from those who were named in the last European Squad will be accounted for.

So Veiga and Felix's sale will not count in balancing the books.

as I have been saying for some time

Thinking about it, neither will Petrovic, Broja and Ugochukwu's transfers count as well and neither will any potential sale of Disasi, Gilcrist, Chukwuemeka,Sterling, David Fofana and Chilwell will count either.

I could also be wrong, but I don't that KDH's sale price would even add anything towards sales number needed?

It's also not like we can just decide to leave a couple of players out, we literally cannot register any new players, and this will include Fofana and Lavia who wasn't registered last time.

Basically we need to sell Nkunku and Jackson.

Prospect Sheet: Rayan (Vasco da Gama)

logo football observatory

The fourth Prospect Sheet from the CIES Football Observatory, in partnership with Impect, presents Brazilian striker Rayan Vitor, a product of Vasco da Gama, the club where he has played since the age of six. At just 19 years old, he is already in his third season at professional level, with a record nine goals in all competitions in 2025.

A technically skilled left-footed player who is fast, powerful, and elegant, Rayan primarily plays as a right winger, but can perform well in any attacking position. He is particularly active at finishing level, but also makes significant contributions in terms of creating chances and aerial play (he is 185cm tall).

Despite a contract expiring at the end of 2026, his transfer value estimated by the CIES Football Observatory’s statistical model is between €19.6 and €25.3 million, depending on the financial strength of the potential buyer club. A possible extension would significantly increase this amount. Without renewal, however, his value is likely to decrease, even if he continues to perform well.

EXCLUSIVE: AFC Bournemouth has START club-to-club talks with Chelsea Football Club for Axel Disasi!

This is a loan with an option to buy.

The Cherries are also in talks with the French central back.

(Sacha Tavolieri)

Fuck off with this loan and option, get rid of Winstanley and Stewart amazing recruit.

The UEFA squad rules are fucking absurd. We’ll have apparently made ~£250m in players sales once this Veiga deal goes through and that won’t do anything for us under these rules. What kind of bullshit is that?

We will have balanced the books better than any club in Europe and yet are in a bind and forced to sell before buying because we didn’t balance the books in one specific way that UEFA wants it done. It’s ridiculous.
