He certainly needed a loan because I didn’t see where he’d have played outside of League Cup games. But I can see a permanent sale with buy back option or right to match option. Gittens is there, Neto is there, Quenda is joining next summer. Ryan Kavuma-McQueen is there. Chelsea also wants to sign Garnacho, Palmer is there, Estevao is there, and Simons is also about to arrive. Where else does George want to play? Left wing is taken, right wing is taken, attacking midfield is taken, center forward is taken... Haven’t really been any recent credible rumors. Just that Inter could be interested if Lookman fell through. But now Lookman has put in a transfer request and put pressure on Atalanta so I assume that gets done. Wonder if he’d agree to return to Leipzig. I don't see the links to Garnacho as being the main reason,more the straw that broke the camels back due to other current and future incoming. George is good,will be atleast good,probably more but Acheampong is the Cobham crown jewel that losing him would really piss me off.
