That, or he and his representatives have made it crystal clear to any other enquiring clubs that he ONLY wants us so they shouldn’t bother.

As bang average as I think he is, he’s still only 21 and PL proven at the biggest club in the PL. Plenty of clubs around Europe including big ones would probably love to take a punt on him. But someone at our club has clearly convinced him that he needs to come here.

Bayer Leverkusen and Napoli both wanted him but he wants to stay in the PL. Villa too. I think people have judged him as if he is the finished article. He scored 6 goals and 7 goals in the league past 2 seasons. Not great, but in a awful team set up, it is decent, considering how bad United have been. Had a brilliant performance at the Bridge couple seasons ago in that dramatic game. But. yeah only 21. I like that he doesn't hide and always willing to try and beat his man and have a go. He needs to work on this, but I think he may surprise people in a few years.

Different topic but I don't see arguments that put United ahead of Liverpool. CL titles make the difference for me.

I guess personally I just kind of put more stock in being the dominant PL era club than Liverpool winning a bunch of titles a hundred years ago. You don’t go 30 years or whatever it was without winning the league if you’re the biggest club in the country.

They are the second biggest of course.

Loan to Leipzig would be good as long as they have serious minutes for him. If they do then they'd presumably want a buy option. Depending on how strongly Tyrique feels about moving on then, as long as there's a serious value on the option, it could be a good solution.

George gonna be sacrificed for the arrival of Garnacho. That’s pretty fucked up, tbh.

He certainly needed a loan because I didn’t see where he’d have played outside of League Cup games. But I can see a permanent sale with buy back option or right to match option.

🍀I understand George wants to play regularly, and that's not possible at Chelsea in the foreseeable future.

Gittens is there, Neto is there, Quenda is joining next summer.

Ryan Kavuma-McQueen is there.

Chelsea also wants to sign Garnacho, Palmer is there, Estevao is there, and Simons is also about to arrive.

Where else does George want to play? Left wing is taken, right wing is taken, attacking midfield is taken, center forward is taken...

In addition, top talents such as Paez, Mheuka, Walsh, Satpaev
and Rabbaj have not even been mentioned in this list.

Genuine interest or attempt to keep Leipzig honest?

If genuine, for loan or for the squad?

If for loan, stay in Lyon or look for a Premier League host?

IF we did buy Fofana and not Garnacho, surely it is for the first team now

our LWers would be Gittens and Fofana (Tyrique would very likely be loaned out or maybe even sold with a buyback)

I can so live with that

Christopher Nkunku won’t be training tomorrow due to minor injury. Player and management have agreed to postpone his return.

Injured whilst not playing football= he's going and this is bullshit

Wonder where to. Haven’t really been any recent credible rumors. Just that Inter could be interested if Lookman fell through. But now Lookman has put in a transfer request and put pressure on Atalanta so I assume that gets done.

Wonder if he’d agree to return to Leipzig.

reduced game time? the season hasnt even started yet

Pretty clear it will be reduced with Gittens Estevao and possibly Garnacho joining

He would be an idiot to wait till the season is underway to find himself 6th/7th choice

Writing was on the wall at the CWC for George when Nkunku was selected so much ahead of him, then all the transfer activity.it's a shame, sad and no doubts he'll be a success elsewhere.atleast we got alot of talent coming through at his positions so shouldn't devestate us..also with only 2 years left on conteact we don't have much wiggle room. I don't see the links to Garnacho as being the main reason, more the straw that broke the camels back due to other current and future incoming.

George is good, will be atleast good, probably more but Acheampong is the Cobham crown jewel that losing him would really piss me off.
