lluubbeenn 188
I think Jackson will actually fit very well at Newcastle. Don't believe a deal is possible due to his preferences and the transfer fee. Reddish-Blue

The transfer fee wouldn't be a problem, they were happy to offer 80 million for that young french striker

Surely United will be forced to pull their finger out and finally push through Mbeumo. Because I can’t imagine Brentford selling both. They’ll risk their PL status if they lose the 35-40 goals they score between them + their manager.

When Chelsea spend big it’s a cudgel all the pundits use to shit on us. When Liverpool spend 300-400m this summer they’ll all play the net spend card. Pizy 19,384
Aw man, United finally getting their ass off the couch and paying up for Mbeumo now. Was really hoping the Newcastle move for Wissa moved quickly and kept United in the mud missing out on Mbeumo. Looks like it scared them into action instead. Pizy 19,384
Newcastle fans must be raging. Fight for UCL football, achieve it on the final day of the season, desperate to establish themselves amongst the big boys. They’ve now missed out on 3 striker targets in the span of a couple of weeks. João Pedro 🛑 Ekitike 🛑 Wissa 🛑 And if I remember correctly they wanted Mbeumo themselves before he turned them down for United. They really could actually go for and make great use of Jackson. And they may be desperate enough to pay what we want at this point.

Pizy 19,384
United’s central midfield, defense, and keeper are weak still and if not addressed they’re going to get killed against all the big teams. But their attack with Mbeumo, Cunha, Bruno, and whichever new striker they buy will be annoying as hell to play against for anyone. Lots of pace, lots of legs, and players who can all shoot and score from distance. With 1 game a week for much of the season they could be sneaky decent. This is the first time I've looked at United and thought they finally had some idea of team building and synergy in how they will want to play. They're going to be fast, dynamic and strong. Pizy 19,384
If they line up with a midfield duo of Casemiro and Bruno they’re going to get turned over frequently by the better teams. But their attack should be good enough to win them plenty of games against the lesser sides they got embarrassed by time and again last season. They’re a club we definitely have to keep an eye on and we can’t write them off like I had hoped.

It’s what did City time and time again last season, whilst their midfield and defence (and coach) are better than United’s by a considerable distance. Must be the 7th season in a row our fanbase shows bizarre fear for United NikkiCFC
