The only question is, how much would Everton be able to demand from another club? At the end of the day, he's a CB and yes there is a homegrown tax, but even then, I wouldn't expect clubs to be bidding more than the Maguire to United transfer fee. Temperament and finishing issues were the letdown but Jackson is a good player and you can see that in many clubs lining up to buy him. Jackson has been a certified starter for two seasons, and the most noticeable thing about him is his petulant behaviour.
