Chelsea will try again for Jamie Gittens after the transfer window reopens next Monday. They will not overpay. They know Borussia Dortmund will sell the player this summer and he wants to move to Chelsea.

Makes perfect sense.

Plenty of time left in the day to get this done, plus we never do things easy or without a sweat

WOW, they’ve genuinely backed out. Absolute fools. No defending this

BREAKING: Mike Maignan to #Chelsea is OFF.

Chelsea are not willing to meet AC Milan's price for Mike Maignan and will not pay a 'Club World Cup tax'. Club maintain full trust in their current goalkeepers.

I wonder if its the lack of interest in our first team GK's

because they are SHIT

no way to spin it otherwise

ALL (except perhaps Penders) are marginal at best

adjusted for inflation (counting Kepa)

we have spent 252m euros on keepers counting Kepa onward

and have fuckall to show for it (other than 1 year wonder Mendy)

As long as Ben Roberts is at Chelsea, Sanchez will never be sold!!! He is his second father.

Graham Potter could stop Chelsea nightmare by taking unpopular coach from Blues to West Ham

Former Chelsea manager Graham Potter could save The Blues by bringing in one of their unpopular coaches with him to West Ham.

This news comes after Chelsea got a vital three points on Friday night against Manchester United in what was a crucial win for the race for Champions League football next season.

One Chelsea legend Gary Cahill was at the match and he has hailed one key player in the game as being one of the best in Europe after his influence on the match.

Cahill wasn’t the only one praising this player as well, with team mate Pedro Neto joining in and picking up on the character of the Chelsea hero from Friday night.

Chelsea will now move on to their final league game of the season next weekend away at Nottingham Forest, and it’s another game they have to win the secure Champions League qualification.

Chelsea fans do not like Ben Roberts

Chelsea goalkeeper coach Ben Roberts is not well-liked by any Chelsea fan I have spoken to, and I speak to many on a daily basis.

This is because Roberts is a good pal of Robert Sanchez and the one who bought him into Chelsea and the one who continues to back him. And Chelsea fans do not rate Sanchez at all.

I don’t rate Gittens highly either but he’s apparently what the manager wanted. Just like he apparently wanted Maignan. The former I couldn’t care less about but missing out on the chance to get a serious keeper really stings.

The manager wanted KDH..................

Allegedly, for a player he “wanted” he didn’t play him

Playing for a Championship side and a PL side are two completely different things. There's a reason he saw most of his playing time in Europe's third tier club competition.
