they bought players who were clearly going to be world class (for the most part) or already were (at least IMHO) or at minimum were rock solid

It is why I said PSG was the death of Vesper's wish list

examples:

Gianluigi Donnarumma (signed on a free when he was 22yo)
Matvey Safonov (would be our best GKer if we had him atm)
Willian Pacho
Nuno Mendes
Achraf Hakimi
Joao Neves
Vitinha
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
Bradley Barcola
Désiré Doué
Ousmane Dembélé

Gabriel Moscardo (out on loan atm)

Hugo Ekitiké (has exploded in value at Frankfurt, the one stupid sale they did lately)

Xavi Simons (from PSV by way of Barca, sold to RB Leipzig for a huge profit)

Warren Zaïre-Emery is a PSG youth product

Hugo Ekiteke was someone I think you and I had talked about a couple or so years back.

Would be nice to have him here now.

Jonathan David's current demand stands at €8 million per season (€150k/£130k per week in wages) and a signing-on fee of €10 million.

‼️ Real Betis are holding out for £35million as Chelsea step up interest in highly-rated winger Jesus Rodriguez.

(Simon Jones)

Chelsea are one of several European clubs monitoring Benfica's Greek striker Vangelis Pavlidis.

{Record}

So if true regarding Jonathon David’s wages, then that will be too much for us. Probably.

And the Benfica striker? Ffs…. he has not even played 1 full season in Portugal and ok he has got 14 goals but not really an impressive league is it? Probably 10 of those 14 goals are like the lad from Sporting’s, you know where he runs 30m onto a through ball over a daft high line virtually unopposed…. 😂

If Delap scores this weekend we will probably give them £100m on the spot because thats how stupid these sporting director cunts are anyway.

PSG have been negotiating with Bradley Barcola over a contract renewal, but he wants to wait until the end of the season to take a final decision.

️pls pls sign him 🙌

He will sign a new contract. Prob, just wants more money. He has no reason to leave there.

‼️ Strasbourg winger Dilane Bakwa could be heading to England this summer, and it might be to their BlueCo’s sister club Chelsea.

Does he score and assist on a consistent basis??? If not, then fuck off.

No he doesn't score much. 4 goals in 2100 Ligue 1 minutes. He does have 9 assists though. He is a left-footed RW, and we have a tonne of them already.

Enzo Maresca's job is safe for now.

🚨 Full focus inside of Chelsea is on the run-in, where they can still secure CL football and lift a trophy in the Conference League, and there is NO consideration being made for yet another managerial change.

We should try and grab Huijsen since his agents are actively shopping him right now. Apart from him in this list, a physical tank at the back would be nice. Just get a Rudiger/Saliba/Gabriel type CB - the team is so shaky at the back. If we can't get any of the main targets, last resort can be Guehi

after Murillo and Huijsen, my enthusiam level drops (from that list, which is only the 'realistic targets)

non realistic ones I would kill for:

Alessandro Bastoni
Marquinhos

then 2 IF they fully recover before then end of the window

Bremer
Sven Botman

wild card

Jonathan Tah (if Barca cannot sign him due to La Liga wage rules)

🚨🔵 Chelsea are closely monitoring the development of Georginio #Rutter and have added him to their shortlist for the next transfer windows. CFC

The 22-y/o versatile forward is currently out with a foot injury but has had a strong season with Brighton, scoring eight goals and providing four assists. One to watch. Contract until 2028.

‼️ Chelsea would be open to sell Renato Veiga in the summer if they receive a €20m offer.

after Murillo and Huijsen

We should just get both and spend the cash at this point. Bring back Petrovic for GK or go and spend the money on a decent option there too.

I am increasingly a big believer in just spending the premium to buy established PL players, and only rarely spending big cash on players otherwise. At this point, we are simply out of time, the club is out of excuses, and they need to put together an XI that can put on a respectable showing against any team in the world - at minimum one that can battle and conceivably take us to pens in a final against the truly elite teams.

These two seem like the most realistic PL targets in that regard. Just offer them good money and get it done. Ship out Colwill and other HG players if needed to cover it. Its just worth it., even if Colwill finally comes good in 3 years for a different club. We need CBs that are ready now.

Scoring 8 goals in like 40 games is considered as strong season?

I checked, he has 5 goals in the PL, not too hard to guess who were the opponents, the shitiest defenses: Chelsea, MU, Spurs, Ipswich, Southampton

He has further 3 in the Carabao Cup, 2 against Champo-side Norwich, one against us, of course.
