We’ll have Andrey Santos and Ugo to return in the summer to add to Lavia in the deep midfield role. Even if we don’t think Ugo is good enough for Chelsea (which I don’t) we’re still well stocked there. Feels like yet another young talent hoarding signing where he’ll be flipped in a couple of years. Although Santos can also play defensive midfielder, he's been given more of an attacking role at Strasbourg. Chelsea very impressed by his development. I’m not against it but I think Jackson is slept on here, we have gone to absolute shit since he’s been gone, the space he creates for other players, his movement and link up are properly missed, he does miss a lot but we are a far better team with him in it. We're obviously a better team with him in it as he's the only senior striker we have in the first team squad with young Guiu as the reserve option.
