And you are not going to change my mind on Felix. I don't rate him at all and think his career speaks volumes.

What you are doing here I've seen 100 times before: when a team is underperforming, it's because the player sitting on the bench is under/not used. Because fans magically know what is best for the team. Fuck the millionaire manager who watches and trains the players every day.

Both manager and goalkeeping coach, not to mention the rest of the staff know nothing, because "we the fans" know the Jorgensen would've been FAR better at the job. Hint: we do not know that.

Marcesca is no Tuchel, but I'm still trying to find where someone said he was.

I already told you 4 or 5 things that should make anyone doubt Maresca and his ability to judge players only from what we've seen so far, if this shit with Felix and Nkunku happened without any of the other shenanigans, you would have a point but the man continues to make strange decision after strange decision, please excuse me and others for starting to doubt his judgement and ability to evaluate a performance.

and I don't agree with any of it. 🤷‍♂️ I think PL can be picky as a league and certain players don't do well here.

My prediction is that switching managers will accomplish nothing. We will see in time.

You don't even know what you talking about honestly, he was one of the best players against Noah and Panathinaikos, played decent against Gent, and the other 2 didn't even start. He started 3 matches in the PL and was more than decent against Leicester and Southampton, poor against Ipswich, where's this chance he got? He couldn't even build some rhythm like Noni was allowed to see if he picks it up. The fact some of you saying he got a fair chance is pure bollocks.

He wasn't even racking up the goals against the small teams like Nkunku was

+ while I think he would be useful vs low blocks, he has been poor in the chances he did get and hasn't influenced games when he has come on to make a case for starts. He's always been accommodated and given starts because of his reputation in my view.

Would help if he scored penalties like Nkunku, who took 5 penalties and scored 4 goals. Without penalties Felix has 7 goals, while Nkunku 9 in 300 more minutes.

Were was he accommodated, he will leave this club and Maresca still didn't even bother trying him in the middle with Cole on RW where he looked very good last season. I dread to see him get his hands on Estevao, who already said he'd like to play in the middle, Maresca most likely won't even bother trying him there if he doesn't cut it on the wing.

I disagree with the view.  He has the worst workrate of any of the attacking mids at the club. Only games to consider Felix was vs low blocks where we don't need a lot of running from midfielders.

Otherwise, we would be more open than we already are in games.

Agreed on Felix, which is the reason he was employed as a false 9 last time here, and wasn't great either: had a few good games initially then his laziness was apparently on every match.

For the record, Estevao is nothing like Felix already; even as young as he is, he's always looking to get the ball and participate in all team movements.
While I don't expect him to dominate the league at his age, I do think he has the potential to become a very special player.

Defo Felix joining them now, cash sale and also Disasi going there

The only remote chance we have of a last minute striker incoming could rest on selling Felix.

We already had fee agreed with Napoli in the summer, the fee was never the issue but the striker is, most are underwhelming.

Tells you everything about the character of Duran that he’s jumping at the chance to go to Saudi at his age despite being coveted by a bunch of the very biggest European clubs. I asked yesterday before the Saudi stuff popped up whether he was actually what we need. Now seeing this I’m even more glad we didn’t spend stupid money on him.

EXCL: Al Nassr are on the verge of reaching verbal agreement with Aston Villa for Jhon Durán for €75m fee with add-ons.

Fabrizio Romano

Wow. He must of been offered a huge amount of money. And probably wants to get out of shithole birmingham 🤣🤣🤣

Aston Villa unhappy with the way Arsenal are going about things regarding Ollie Watkins. 🟣

Arsenal's first bid was turned down, and internal discussions ongoing about a second one. Arteta a huge fan of Ollie.
