Nothing has changed since then has it - at least its hard to say they'd be more positive and relaxed now than they were when they wanted to go all in on Osi? So surely they do want and feel the need for a number 9. I wonder if we'll suddenly see some transfer deadline day idiocy again... Probably not for Osi now, given that he chose to retire. I have had the feeling for a while the directors like to create time pressure for players and other clubs, which seems to backfire at least as often as it helps. I have too be fair though this season started well until we hit a rough patch But certain areas of the squad I think they recruited well. The midfield trio caiceido,enzo,lavia all great when they all on the field but considering lavias injury history thats an issue Its clear too see when lavias missing A big wide hole in the middle of the park I almost feel bad for caiceido he has to cover extra ground. I can't understand why haven't we bought douglas luiz perfect opportuinty to get a deal done Considering they loaned veiga, And the striker departement, John obi mikel is 1000 % correct its clear to see we need more, only jackson its not enough But it seems the directors are fixated on delap how much better is delap then jackson? Board have been good with targets when it comes to forwards and what not so I will give them the benefit of the doubt.
