Swap Deal With Garnacho comes🙉🙉

probably going to regret saying this

and I am sure I will now be attacked

BUT

a straight swap

Garnacho to Chels

Felix to Manure

is good business for us

i am more and more convinced that youre the real joao felix

The hate for him is so strange it's almost embarrassing at this point but whatever floats the boat I guess. This guy is making due with whatever limited minutes he is getting while Noni pulls trash after trash performance but most don't mind it.

I have zero hate for Felix

I just think he is not the type of player for us (I wish he was, I think he is fun to watch)

there are many teams (good teams) he would be better suited for

he would be a monster at Atalanta, for instance

same for Bayer Leverkusen or Eintracht Franfurt

Dortmund perhaps

I don't hate him, but I also don't rate him--never did.

It's not strange at all. We know him. He has played for the club before. He was employed as a false 9 because he can't play anywhere else in modern football, and he's not good enough as a false 9 for a club like Chelsea.

He's not a new player waiting to show his stuff; we all know his game from his performances at Chelsea, in Spain, and for Portugal. 🤷‍♂️
Is it really a surprise that Maresca does not seem to rate him either?

The problem isn't that he doesn't rate him, problem is that he rates worse players than him instead of making the most of what he has at his disposal right now. Serial losers like Noni should be on the bench indefinitely, guy was celebrating and screaming for pushing a ball that was going in anyways whereas being complete wank otherwise.

Just now, TheHulk said:

I'd prefer Gittens over both of them.

oh, for sure

and you can add in

Florian Wirtz
Jamal Musiala
Bradley Barcola
Rafael Leão
Xavi Simons

plus a wild card (basically impossible)

Rodrygo (he is right footer who plays out of postion on the right wing at Real due to RM's overload on the left wing)

I fucked up (position-wise) in a post last week and also listed Johan Bakayoko of PSV Eindhoven, but he is a left-footed right-winger, the last thing we need due to all the incomings and already-heres

No fan of Noni here. Think he lacks skill -- the selfishness bit only makes it worse as it is on display when we have to defend.

Still it's a team balance thing: if we had Sancho on the left, Felix on the right, and Cole in the center, we would lose a lot more than win. Just not enough people doing the defensive tasks.

The 488th CIES Football Observatory Weekly Post presents the 100 players who have scored the most goals in official club or national team matches (senior, U23 or U21) over the last year. Sporting CP's Swede Viktor Gyökeres is clearly at the top of the list with no fewer than 64 goals: 54 for his club and 10 at national team level.

Erling Haaland (Manchester City and Norway) and Harry Kane (Bayern Munich and England) complete the podium with 52 and 47 goals respectively. In terms of goal frequency, the top three are Irishman Garbhan Coughlan of Cashmere Technical in New Zealand (one goal every 43 minutes), Japan's Tomoyuki Doi of Geylang United in Singapore, and Uruguay's Martín Cauteruccio of Sporting Cristal in Peru.

The Post also presents the rankings for the last two and three years. Over the last two years, nobody has scored more goals than Erling Haaland (101), while Kylian Mbappé tops the last-three-year list with 147 goals. The youngest player in last year's top 100 is the Spaniard Chupete (Atlético Malagueño), while the evergreen Cristiano Ronaldo (Al-Nassr and Portugal) is the oldest.
