We need to IMPROVE the squad, not just add more and more young players who need years to develop. On top of that, I just don’t rate him. OneMoSalah 8,886 Posted January 20 Share Posted January 20 Look Garnacho isn’t a bad player (in another window and with other options in attack, would of 100% taken him) but the whole thing for me is he is another u21 player who is learning the game and won’t immediately improve what we’ve got. The age group of what we are looking to recruit for has been wrong for 12 months at least now. We need good established and proven players to help the younger guys along. Why we keep being linked to these u21 players is absolutely beyond me - obviously the sporting directors think having the lowest average age of match day squad is better than winning trophies….
