We signed Courtois when he was 19/20....and Penders on loan is meant to be one of the better prospect keepers out there.

Feel like all we need is that experienced keeper to give us 3 seasons of solid game time.

Thibo went off to Atletico for two seasons playing at the top level. Slonina was meant to be the next big thing and had to be recalled from a League 1 side. Kepa or Jorgensen would be seen as "young."

That's my point exactly. If Zion is seriously viewed as a target, it's to be number 1. There are some positions you can't mess around with or you'll find out. We should know...

Enzo Maresca on whether Tosin Adarabioyo or Axel Disasi will be allowed to leave Chelsea this month amid interest:

"At the moment, they are both with us. The intention is not to allow them to go. But we are in January and anything can happen."

Update on Lesley Ugochukwu and Andrey Santos...

Asked Enzo Maresca if Chelsea are considering a recall for either loanee. Said: "No, because we don't know if it's a problem for them (Romeo Lavia and Enzo Fernandez), just that we don't know if they will play the next game."

City are what we wish we were. We have been saying that for years and it’s true.

Their first bad patch in a decade and they go out and buy 4 serious players.

Look at us.. absolute shambles of a club. If we don’t get a striker or CB and bring back one of our midfielders in this window.. im done supporting this board. Time to start seeing the situation for what it is, a complete and utter disgrace of ownership.

City didn't become who they were overnight.

Stockpiling talent is part of this to build longer term success, and have interchangeable players in that can just slot in. We're only 3 years removed from a CL win... People are acting as if we've been struggling for years... We're already back in a CL spot after a COMPLETE rebuild that included transfer bans, new ownership, etc.

The ownership group has gotten more right than wrong after the first transfer window.

We've literally got our core group to push us to the next level for the foreseeable future in Cole, Enzo, Moises, Lavia, Jackson - hell I'd even put Cucu in that.

We aren't a load of signings away. 1 or 2 good signings and continued improvement and time together has us competing for a title.

We are. 8 seasons without fighting for a title. Since Roman bought a club over 20 years ago CL place was pretty much guaranteed thing and we were never happy with just that. In his era 2003-2022 we missed CL just once. Now on a verge 3 in 3.
