I just laugh every time I see anyone linking us with Isak. As if Newcastle will allow their best player and the guy who is in dominant form walk halfway through the season when they’re in red hot form and neck and neck with us in the race for top 4.

Shit, I highly doubt he himself would even say yes to us right now even if we did come up with a £120m offer. If he carries on like this for the remainder of the season he can sit back and wait for a whole host of top clubs to come for him. He can bide his time and see who is in the UCL places before deciding.

The time to get him was last summer when we were heavily linked. We almost surely could’ve gotten him for well under £100m. Now after the season he’s having they’ll rightly demand a new PL record fee. If midfielders like Rice and Caicedo went for about £100m then a match winning, top class striker who can get you 20 PL goals a season will probably cost £120m+.

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, are we sure Newcastle have paid for Hall & Tino (sell on percentage)?

If not, I'd imagine a good chunk off any potential deal would work in our favour unlike any other club. Newcastle leaving themselves without CF (Wilson has been a non-entity) would be unlikely, though.

And why isak would leave newcastle to join us at the middle of the season?

A better chance of winning silverware.

the hall situation hurts a bit, but some context is needed. (such as the livramento situation)

Hall is starting to play well now, but if he was at Chelsea he would be covered by Cucurella, who is playing well this season.

the hall grew due to the time of the game. I would never have had that playing time here at Chelsea.

When he was loaned with a mandatory purchase option, Maresca was not yet the coach and it made sense to keep Chilwell and Cucurella.

Hall would never have time to reach that level at Chelsea.

the situation of livramento is similar. when it was sold we had the gusto and the reece. we were well served. The problem is that at the time no one expected that Reece would be hurt all the time

And both are training under the best defensive coach in the league (the Simeone effect). The game against Bournemouth will be huge for our season. I wont be surprised if not winning it leads to movement in the window.

If I remember correctly, Chelsea wanted to keep Livramento, but he was refusing to sign a new contract.

and made the right decision.

He knew he'd always be covered by Reece James.

I'd do the same if I were him.

😡Chelsea so far have leveraged Chalobah in a swap deal for Guehi. A lot of hardball as we have threat of recalling him. Palace value Chalobah at ~£20m & Guehi £60/65m, which Chelsea believe is far off.

💙Chelsea desperate to sell Disasi.

💰Chelsea have been offered Loic Bade at Sevilla, but no interest thus far. Acheampong seen as a long-term CB option.

💪Chelsea have scouted Wilfred Singo and Joel Ordonez. There will of course be other names.

🤔GKs are being looked at for the summer. Anatoliy Trubin is liked and has been for a while.

🧨Chelsea are 'not counting' on Mudryk for next season.

💶Bynoe-Gittens is liked a lot. Reports of interest in Yeremay Hernandez are true and Chelsea also really like Malick Fofana

😍💪Maresca wants to look at Kiano Dyer in the summer as someone who potentially integrates into the squad next season. I'm told Maresca really likes him.

He’s been put on a strength and conditioning program to get him ready for next season.

👀✍️but we are looking at strikers. The report a month or so ago about interest in Stefanos Tzimas is true. Chelsea really like him. Told Liverpool also big fans and currently slightly ahead.

🙌Sesko, Delap and Samu other names told of interest.

✍️On a LB yes, I'm just trying to get further clarification, but I'm told to really look out for Jorrel Hato.

👀Chelsea have offered Christopher Nkunku as part of a swap deal for Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel (via @cfbayern/  @altobelli13)

Giving up a striker in his prime years for a 19 year old winger the squad absolutely doesn't need

We are wasting another window

This bloke a winger or a striker?

He will find out when he grows up. 😅
Striker, apparently, but can also play on the wings. He's 6ft tall as well.

Agreed in principle, but Nkunku did not work out. Either system, and/or injuries, but he's disappointing to watch.

I absolutely REFUSE to believe that Tel would be the profile of target that Maresca has said to the board that we need. We’re a squad that’s already filled with young players who are inconsistent. Why add yet another teenager? Especially one like Tel who appears not to have a well defined position.

Nkunku hasn’t worked out as well as we all hoped in the PL, but swapping a highly experienced player like him for a totally unproven kid would be another face palm move from our transfer committee.
