I would argue he is. For reasonable money, I'd take him but not break the bank for him. He is not in the tier of players that you would pay over the odds to get

Many teams wanted a striker in the summer - ManU, Arsenal, PSG and didn't go for him - other than the Saudi bids. Would be surprised if a big club goes for him for the main striker role.

He was available for reasonable money (£50-60M); his wages proved to be the stumbling block. I believe he was worth breaking the bank for a year or so ago, but things have changed since. Would you be happy with the club spending £80m+ on Gyokeres instead?

United have Ramus and bought Zirkzee; PSG have Ramos & Kolo Muani, so that leaves one of the three you mentioned as a viable option. His contract ends next summer, so I'm sure there will be more suitors in the coming months. However, moving to Turkey hasn't done him any favours.

I would have been happy if we got him - we clearly need a striker to rotate Jackson with - but not as high earner.

Gyokeres is interesting if the club can push for him - seems to be the better striker on the market compared to Delap, Sesko, Ferguson, Boniface etc we have been linked to. Duran and Isak are options too but it's tough to sign them.

Left-Footed CBs I rate enough to buy and are (in some cases barely) available

Alessandro Bastoni  (insanely hard pull)
Murillo
Castello Lukeba
Gonçalo Inácio
Jarrad Branthwaite
Piero Hincapié
Dávid Hancko
Jorrel Hato (can play LB as well)
Yarek Gasiorowski   (youth)
Morato
Konstantinos Koulierakis

Yep, I'd argue it was fair given there was zero competition for him in the summer + club is not in the Champions League right now.

It was Chelsea or bust for Osimhen and his stock has gone further down now since the summer.

atm Osimhen is looking like a one season wonder (2022-23, when he scored 26 league goals)

other than that his league totals have been

0 Wolfsburg

12 Charleroi

13 Lille

10 Napoli

14 Napoli

26 Napoli

15 Napoli

and he is so often injured

other than 2022-23, he has never played more than 27 league games

EXCL. Borussia Dortmund are very interested in Renato Veiga (21/🇵🇹). There is a VERBAL AGREEMENT between the 21-year-old center-back from Chelsea and #BVB. Dortmund are exploring a loan deal with an option to buy.

Veiga is keen on the move. Dortmund are now pushing and trying to find a solution with CFC.

straight loan I hope, unless the option price is high

I rate Veiga

The expected departures of Veiga , KDH (summer purchases) only prove the theory that the idea is not to create a champions team, but players who will be sold after a season or two for profit eventually and in general all the players who were recruited in the last 2 years like Petrovic , Santos (loan deal= better money ) Disaster, Nkunku  who are looking for a buyer and are not wanted, like Chilwell (a national team player who win us CL and for 5 months, for inexplicable reasons,  haven't played a single game ) .
