BREAKING: Juventus interested in Disasi.

Chelsea have opened up the possibility of a loan + obligation linked to number of times he plays. (@DiMarzio)

That would be the best news of the whole transfer window!    I doubt Juventus take him...

We couldn't get a deal done for Osimhen but some believe there's a chance we'll sign Kvaratskhelia. It ain't happening.

Because we wanted a fair deal. We could have got him if we paid the asking price but walking away is much smarter than paying 80+ million when there was no competition for him.

Where the club fucked up is by focusing on Osimhen, we missed out on adding a forward

If the club is serious about a target, we've seen they're willing to go get things done - Enzo, Caicedo, Cucu,

Fair deal? He was on high wages, which the club wasn't willing to meet or get relatively close to. If there was any real interest in KK, we'd face the same issues. We're not like Real Madrid, where players will gladly come even if it means taking a wage reduction.

Two of the names given were signed using the loophole. Last I checked, it was a thing of the past, so I wouldn't expect a £100 million signing in the near future.

They will make it a 10 minimum appearances obligation to buy and after seeing he sucks big time after 3 matches he never plays another game, come back in June.

Yep, I'd argue it was fair given there was zero competition for him in the summer + club is not in the Champions League right now.

It was Chelsea or bust for Osimhen and his stock has gone further down now since the summer.

Lack of competition doesn't mean player is of less value or should be seen that way. He parted ways with agent shortly after and sealed his move to Gala himself (if reports are to believed).

Either way, he'll see at the end of the season if going with just NJ for another season was smart or not.

I would argue he is. For reasonable money, I'd take him but not break the bank for him. He is not in the tier of players that you would pay over the odds to get

Many teams wanted a striker in the summer - ManU, Arsenal, PSG and didn't go for him - other than the Saudi bids. Would be surprised if a big club goes for him for the main striker role.

He was available for reasonable money (£50-60M); his wages proved to be the stumbling block. I believe he was worth breaking the bank for a year or so ago, but things have changed since. Would you be happy with the club spending £80m+ on Gyokeres instead?

United have Ramus and bought Zirkzee; PSG have Ramos & Kolo Muani, so that leaves one of the three you mentioned as a viable option. His contract ends next summer, so I'm sure there will be more suitors in the coming months. However, moving to Turkey hasn't done him any favours.

I would have been happy if we got him - we clearly need a striker to rotate Jackson with - but not as high earner.

Gyokeres is interesting if the club can push for him - seems to be the better striker on the market compared to Delap, Sesko, Ferguson, Boniface etc we have been linked to. Duran and Isak are options too but it's tough to sign them.
