To be fair, the club clearly made strides to get one, but they ultimately are the ones to blame for not getting one signed, mainly down to money. I would hope that they now realize what a mistake it was not to buy one and will do something this month. The issue is neither are/were upgrades right then, which doesn't help us at the current point in time. I'd don't expect the club to shy away from their "project", so expect more teens to come. Looks a bit like he has regressed slightly (although young inexperienced player who is playing in a struggling team - always inevitable) but I do rate him. Whether we need him or not is another question, he isn’t the most combative and we definitely need someone more of that ilk incase Caicedo gets injured/suspended given Lavia’s fitness. Guehi would be a good additional IMO. Looked like he had really kicked on last season as well as his performances at the Euros. Price is going to be difficult. If it’s over £40-45m, walk away. Hm, to me it is by far our weakest position - only a couple of teams have scored more goals than us, even AFTER the goal drought from the last few games, but all season we've been conceding more than the other teams at the top of the table.
