𝘽𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙆𝙄𝙉𝙂: Omar Marmoush will sign for Manchester City. ✍️🇪🇬🔵

[@youm7]

Sky Germany reports that there have been no negotiations between Manchester City and Eintracht Frankfurt over Omar Marmoush.

The original report came from the Sun (the epitome of truth (this is sarcasm)) and suggested that the defending Premier League champions will raid Frankfurt for their talisman this winter.

I don't mind if those that come in are perceived as an upgrade. KDH for Gallagher? 😐

Chalobah's predicament became apparent, even when he scored against Tottenham. However, I believe no one was prepared to part with money for him, so the board took the next best thing in their opinion. I mentioned it before his loan was finalised: his flexibility and PL experience make him a great asset, despite his flaws.

It's not about whether they are good enough but who replaced them.

Is KDH better than Gallagher, an English INT? Are Badi, Tosin, and Disasi better than Trev?

I'd imagine almost everyone on this board would say no to both. It's one thing to replace "subpar" players with better ones; it's a totally different thing to just make stupid decisions.

Gallagher was starting week in week out last season. Do you see KDH starting right now? Don't know why you are comparing the two as if KDH was brought in to replace Gallagher.

Badi Tosin and Disasi are not starting ahead of the first choice defense of Fofana and Colwill either.

The board has not just spent on KDH, Tosin, Badi and Disasi. It was clear to everyone that KDH and Tosin particularly were bought in the summer as cover. Can't deny board has spent considerably to improve the first XI with Gusto, Cucu, Caicedo, Enzo, Lavia, Palmer,  and not have limited players like Gallagher and Chalobah in it.

We sold a midfielder, KDH was brought in to fill that void. That's why I'm mentioning the two. KDH should have never been bought & screamed Drinkwater vibes the moment the rumour started to circulate.

I'm talking about the players they were brought into replace, not what is currently at the club. Tosin came on a free, so his signing was a no-brainer.

Half of the players you mentioned are exactly that - limited.

KDH is not filling the void left by Gallagher. He's never on the pitch and Gallagher played in all 38 games last season.

Games played has no relevance at all. Once again, we lost a midfielder, we gained one. The concept isn't difficult to understand.

They didn't replace Gallagher with a sub-par player like KDH as suggested. They've upgraded.

They did, given Lavia, Enzo and Caicedo were all signed by the club when Connor was still here…. And Connor played more minutes than all of them under Poch….

Connor was the only first team CM to leave permanently in the summer and KDH was the only first team CM signed in the same window… so how was he not his direct replacement?

In quality terms, he certainly wasn’t an upgrade - didn’t need to see KDH in a Chelsea shirt to figure that out - but that was definitely the feeling folk on here and I am sure the feeling the club/manager were hoping for alongside the obvious PSR benefits.

Several folk had KDH pegged in as a starter under Maresca too 😂

The only way getting KDH would’ve been warranted was for rotation at the very least.

it matters little what some of us hoped — hardly ever seen him play as I only watch the PL. We merely trusted the scouting done.
it looks like a major blunder by the club.

Lavia either addresses his fitness issues or his career will look very different from originally thought.

No chance of Chelsea recalling these three CBs:

Trevoh Chalobah from Crystal Palace

Alfie Gilchrist from Sheffield United.

Bashir Humphreys will be going to Burnley permanently (obligation to buy) in the summer.

Wasn’t Trevoh just a lot better than both disasi and Tosin? Or my mind is playing tricks?

Torino has offered £9.6 million for Cesare Casadei, with a percentage of future resale. However, Chelsea's request is to reach a total "package" of £16.6 million with a buy-back option in their favour.

(@DiMarzio)

At least they are continuing to cover their backs with such clause on the off chance.

Not sure we'll get any. We don't have quality but we have numbers even with injuries.

Colwill, Veiga, Tosin, Disasi, Anselmino, Josh.

Manchester City have started talks with Lens for Abdukodir Khusanov – Discussions also started on player side.

Juventus Turin are expected to approach Chelsea for Renato Veiga once Danilo’s departure is finalized.

I would have love to see more of Renato. He is for me better options then having Dissadi and Badi.

But if a good amount comes for him can't ignore that.

If it's a lowball money not worth it to send Juventus.
