🤔Madueke has had three strikes by Maresca, one in August about training, another before Aston Villa about training again, and now what we can only assume as strike three by Maresca. The competition has to be higher.

Renato Veiga was left out for the same reason as Madueke.

Not only Noni but also Renato Veiga”

Chelsea have no thoughts of selling yet in January. (@kierangill_DM)

💬Enzo Maresca on Ipswich Town's Liam Delap:

"Fantastic player. Also for his age. We spent one year [at Man City] and he scored 24 goals. He’s working hard off the ball. On the ball he understands the game. He can be an important player for England."🔵

No surprise with Noni there, he will end up gone if he continues, I'm sure he'd be happy at a Newcastle or something, on high'ish wages and continuing his off the field lifestyle.

Perhaps use in a makeweight for Isak, not that I want to sell Noni but his attitude has been a constant constant constant issue, rollercoaster.

Not surprised, I've always maintained Sterling and Noni are the biggest poisons in the squad. Need to get rid of both of them before they do more harm to the rest, no idea about Veiga sounded mature in his interviews. We will probably get rid of him in the summer as well considering Maresca barely trusts him.

It's crazy we have bought so many goalkeepers recently and still have failed to identify one that would be up to the job (it really isn't that difficult - just look at what Liverpool did in the summer).

Understand Harvey Vale is attracting interest from Anderlecht, Heerenven and Sunderland.

Alfie Gilchrist also has suitors for January but the expectation is he remains at Sheffield United on loan until summer.

I would take Rashford after watching how Sancho transform his form after leaving Old Trafford .

Sancho is yet to be seen. For example last 3 games he played 90mins didn't do much and should have been subbed way earlier.

Nah, hard pass on Rashford. He thinks he is a superstar and can do what he wants. Last season he went on a massive bender the night before a training and this season he flew to the States and rocked up at a NBA game flanked by two security guards despite people not knowing who he is there/much more high profile people going with none/less.

On top of that he had one good season in the last 4 and is paid £350k a week. Absolutely not. Although fortunately, I think the club would also recognise the issues with him.

Newcastle need money, we need to be looking at Isak

  • Newcastle's mammoth price tag for Alexander Isak has been revealed
  • The Swedish striker has been earmarked with a move to some European giants

Newcastle have set a staggering price tag on in-form Alexander Isak, in excess of £150million, according to a report.

The Magpies purchased the 25-year-old in 2022 from Real Sociedad for £63m - the club's most expensive arrival to this day.

Only three players have outscored Isak in the Premier League this season, who has netted 11 times in 16 games - Mohamed Salah (16), Erling Haaland (13) and Cole Palmer (12).

His impressive form has caught the eyes of some Premier League rivals and other European giants, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, PSG, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Despite the plethora of potential suitors, Newcastle have insisted that they are 'relaxed' about the situation, while Isak himself has expressed he is content on Tyneside, according to The Telegraph.

Upon Enzo Maresca's appointment in the summer, Chelsea enquired about the Swede's availability, which was met by the aforementioned £150m valuation.
