Inter Milan and Barcelona are plotting a swoop for Chelsea and Argentina midfielder Enzo Fernandez, 23, whose future at Stamford Bridge looks increasingly unclear. (Sun), external

Thought they were both skint, unless of course we'll let him go for a rub of soap🤗

Barca can sell players that would bring in huge money

Lamine Yamal
Gavi
Pedri
Ronald Araujo
Raphinha
Dani Olmo ?
Frenkie de Jong
Jules Koundé
Fermín López
Alejandro Balde
Pau Cubarsí
Andreas Christensen
Ferran Torres
Ansu Fati
Marc Casadó
Héctor Fort

Inter could do so, to a point, , but have fewer at that level of value

Lautaro Martínez
Nicolò Barella
Alessandro Bastoni
Marcus Thuram
Federico Dimarco
Hakan Çalhanoğlu   (turns 32yo next season though, on February 8, 2026)
Benjamin Pavard
Davide Frattesi

Chelsea’s scouts are watching a host of young centre backs, some exclusive young names include Yasin Ozcan, Joel Ordonez and Arouna Sangante while more prominent names being watched include Inacio, Diomande, Thiaw, Araujo, Hincapie and Antonio Silva.

Sunderland youngsters Jobe Bellingham and Chris Rigg are being watched by scouts.

Chelsea scouts are continuing to watch Jhon Duran, Benjamin, Liam Delap, Sesko and Evan Ferguson. #CFC

I feel like we lost our chance at Duran in the previous window.   Delap is raw but has the skills and he's also a City academy player so fits in the Maresca mold just like Mr. Sancho 😁

Sources told us that Ait-Nouri is of “major interest” to Liverpool and Chelsea, as well as other clubs around Europe.

{Molineux News}

I have literally been talking about him as a target for over five years now

here are two old posts of mine:

Delap could certainly be a diamond in the rough. Love his strength in his play.

If we do end up getting him i'm praying our directors see the same trajectory they saw in Gyorkeres.

We'll see. Maresca is not that enamoured with him

We'd be short in midfield though if he was to leave in January.

Feel like end of season with Santos returning from a solid loan spell in Ligue 1 would be win win for everyone.

And to think we got rid of Conor.

He rejected the contract extension and it was either sell him for a fee or let him walk next season for free (which doesn't help with our FFP issues).

Personally think selling Enzo Fernandez wont be the end of the world. Particularly if we get a £75-85m deal for him, which is being reported.

Technically could be a very good player but haven’t seen anywhere near enough, physically he looks miles off it and couldn’t care less if Madrid or Barcelona want him.

I think the only club that would be willing to offer anything close to what we paid would be PSG.
