Chelsea Transfers

As much as a second CF would be nice, we need to seriously sort out CB and GK. Disaster and Badi need to get shipped on loan (not selling them, unless someone owes us a favour), Tosin should be sold for profit. As for GK at some point Jorg needs a run in the PL as Sanchez is at best a GK2 owing to his HG status. As for the rest of the squad, I am happy with where we are at. Although I suspect a couple of the AM's will get moved when the Estevao and Paez turn up.

If United do get Amorim, he's going to bring his best players with him.

I would say a combination of Neto/Sancho/Palmer/Madueke/Brazilian wonderkid would be enough for the AM roles.

Chuks and Mudryk should be gone and the rumors around Nkunku aren't surprising, probably wants regular minutes to get into the National team.

This stance of playing hardball is so stupid. If a player doesn't see himself being at the club for the foreseeable future, do everything possible to get the highest fee for them.

Reading between the lines, it seems likely that the question of a transfer is at the root of the club's frustration. My guess is that Acheampong is not only refusing to sign a new deal, but is also refusing the option to leave on a permanent transfer. Faced with losing him for a compensation fee, at best, CFC are hoping their stance will encourage he and his advisers to accept a move. Reading further between the lines, the lad has probably been tapped up and knows there is a fat contract waiting for him at a club he would be happy to join when his Chelsea contract ends.

I am personally still not sold on Sancho. At the moment, I have him still in the same category as Mudryk in that you can use them when playing the small fry/when we have all the ball. However, yes, we have more than enough at AM and the rumours around Nkunku aren't surprising at all.

Last I read, he's on contract till 2026. Is the player and his entourage really willing to waste away almost two years for whatever may be waiting ahead for him?

United recently invested huge amount of money in Hojlund and Zirkzee, I would be surprised if they would be willing to bid for Gyökeres, Amorim coming or not.

They pretty much bought Ten Hag half of his Ajax team, I don't think they will do it again for a young, relatively unproven manager. MU squad has a lot of talent and depth, I think the new manager will have to try cook something out of it, I don't expect a lot of transfers from their side in January.

By the way, he already got Ugarte, he was one if his best player ~1.5 years ago.

Chelsea is preparing a significant offer of 100 million euros to sign two of the most promising defenders from Benfica, Antonio Silva and Tomás Araujo, in an attempt to strengthen their defensive line for the future.

The Blues' board sees this Portuguese duo as a key opportunity to rejuvenate and enhance their defensive squad, surpassing Premier League rivals like Manchester United and Arsenal who have also shown interest in both players.

Carlo needs to REALLY worry about his shit defence (his fullbacks, with Carvajal out, are really dire, and even Carvajal back that doesnt sort out LB (Mendy sucks, regardless of Ancelotti ludicrously calling him the best LB in the world) and lack of depth at CB, especially with 32yo Alaba still wrecked from his horrid knee injury, and Miltao a shadow of the player he was before his own bad injury)

Plus lack of creativity at AMF (which Enzo doesn't solve)

plus an actual CF

as Mbappe at CF, Vini Jr at LW is not working all that well, and tensions between the two are rising

£50m for Gyökeres would be a steal IMHO

prefer him over Isak all day long at that price

and even though he turns 27 in June 2025, we would likely get 5 or 6 prime years out of him.

plus he only has had 3 big minute seasons on his body (the last 3, and this season will make 4)

so he is not like a Michael Owen type who was run into ground at a young age

This is Owen at 16 years old and on

by the time he was 25, 26, he was already run into the ground

also, Owen never scored 20 or more league goals in a topflight season, ever
