Caicedo’s quotes really go a long way in confirming why Gallagher was such a Poch favorite. He’s not a great technical player but he runs around a lot. It seems like Poch wanted to win games by basically being more physical and athletic than the opposition rather than being technically or tactically superior.

Chelsea have hired former South Africa Rugby and AFC Bournemouth Medical Director Craig Roberts to become their new Head of Performance Medicine.

Big new changes in Chelsea's Performance & Medicine departments:

▶️ Head of Performance Medicine = Craig Roberts
▶️ Head of Performance = Bryce Cavanagh
▶️ First Team Doctor = Stephen Lewis
▶️ Lead Performance Therapist = Meirion Jones
▶️ Head of Performance Insights = Richard Akenhead

Pretty sure a few other players also mentioned similar, saying that they were tired after the training sessions with Poch.

You're right, I heard Ricky Lambert on talk sport speak about it once regarding their running sessions.

EXCL: Liverpool are closing in on deal to sign Rio Ngumoha (2008) as he’s leaving Chelsea Academy.

#LFC are set to break historical wage structure for Academy to sign Rio, who’s highly rated by the club.

Deal set to be completed soon. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Understand Atlético Madrid remain the most interested club in Conor Gallagher this summer.

Atléti have made contact with Chelsea for Gallagher as he’s one of the names in the shortlist.

Not an easy deal as still expensive — but Atlético interest is genuine.

Gallagher is a perfect Simeone Player😉💪

I still see people on my Twitter timeline posting quotes from Fabrizio saying “one of Cucu or Chilwell could leave.”

Why is the idea of Cucu leaving at this point even a discussion? In this system with an inverted fullback Cucu is tailor made for that role. He HAS to stay.

Can you even imagine if we sold Cucu and kept Chilwell? When Cucu has finally shown the form that made us spend an absurd amount on him?

That's interesting, the rival fans I've spoken with are delighted with the fact that we can't pull off top tier signings anymore (ever since Roman was told to sell the club).

we have spent well over a billion quid since Roman left

multiple big names (if not big results from many of those, at least not yet for the ones still here)
