Even if the price is 25m and not 40, there are better solutions for the striker role. I like the physical attributes and he seems to have a shot on him, something we haven't seen among Chelsea forwards in a while. But technique-wise, there is a lot of work to be done. He came from the MLS and has had a year of coaching from Emery. I don't think he's ready for a ST role at Chelsea and its another summer where we are circling around the striker question and not going for the kill in getting a player in his prime.

I will keep banging that drum

Jonathan David would be a great buy IMHO

super athletic, pressing machine and a proven top flight goal scorer

that said

IF we fail on Duran and pass on David

I wager we might take a crack at

Samu Omorodion

Atletico Madrid own his contract, and want £29.5m

Many of our range of CF targets are now off the board

the CFs who are left:

(bold will be crazy expensive)

blue are ones I am good with (non bolded)

many on here I am NOT ok with

Victor Osimhen
Julián Álvarez
Dušan Vlahović
Viktor Gyökeres
Loïs Openda
Evan Ferguson

Jonathan David
Joshua Zirkzee
Ivan Toney

Jhon Durán

Victor Boniface
Santiago Gimenez
Serhou Guirassy
Dominic Solanke
Samu Omorodion (undecided)
Evanilson
Elye Wahi
Brian Brobbey
Artem Dovbyk
Vitor Roque
Maximilian Beier
Karim Konaté
Igor Thiago
Marcos Leonardo
Youssoufa Moukoko
Rodrigo Muniz
Hugo Ekitiké
Arnaud Kalimuendo
El Bilal Touré
Kévin Denkey
Gift Orban
Ricardo Pepi
Emanuel Emegha (at Strasbourg)

then a youth I wager we are looking at

Eli Junior Kroupi

I don't think Olise's first choice is us. I think he will go to a team where he sees himself being the out and out RW for years to come. United, the position is made for him. They desperately need a RW there. Although we could do with him, I would say United need him more and would pay him higher than we would as well. City, I think may be in for him too as their team is ageing sliglty and could do with another RW. Bayern have been linked and he would thrive out there, but is he ready to move to Germany right now, I am not sure.

My money is he ends up at United. Let's see.

I think we have a slightly chacne over united and ofc newcastle

bayern I dont believe that they will smash 60M pounds for him and city IDK.. I have some doubs that they are really interested, tbh

United need him more and will pay him more. We have the London factor, but like how Palmer is our main man, Olise is practically the same if he goes United. If he comes us, will be very exciting to see but I am sure Olise has been targeting United for a while and while they are in a mess, if they sell their future project to them and pay him massive wages (like Sancho) I think he goes there.
