Piecing what limited info we do actually have, it feels like we’re trying to work out some weird payment structure with Brighton rather than paying one huge lump sum and that’s why it’s been so long without an update. Which makes me super nervous and makes me think there’s another 180 degree twist in this saga back to Liverpool who can pay all at once.

No chance Liverpool's bid includes £100M+ paid in one installment, they've been just as obsessed with scattered payments in the past as Clearlake are.

I’m a natural worrier and am panic prone. Not just with football but with everything in life and I’m not afraid to admit it. It’s something I hate about myself 😭😭😭
 

So until I see Caicedo announced officially by the club I’m going to continue thinking something is wrong.

Welcome to the club Pizzy. My Wife is always on my case to chill. With transfers though, there is no point in worrying... the sooner you come to terms that you just never know in The World of football, the healthier it becomes during transferr season.

As for the reason why Lavia's agents have been so happy to talk about the offer, it's probably because they're trying to bait Liverpool into outbidding us. It could even be the player would prefer the dippers because if we get Caicedo and also have Enzo, I really don't think Lavia would even be a starter with us but he certainly would be at Liverpool (this is assuming they fail with Caicedo and go after Lavia instead). 

Liverpool don't want to get back in the race for Lavia before they know for certain what happens with Caicedo.

And how come we heard nothing from Southampton about our 48m and 55m bids? Why would we offer 55m if 48m was not rejected in the first place? Also I don't believe we offered 100m for Caicedo 2 night ago. Both Chelsea and Liverpool are giving to the media what they want other side and public to think.
