Saw a suggestion on the Pys twitter that Broja not going to USA maybe means we will be looking for a striker, as Poch won’t even be reviewing if he is good enough perhaps that is already decided. I’ll keep dreaming of Muani.

He isn't going because he is still recovering from injury..

Yes, but the theory was that Poch wanted to see him in preseason to decide if we need a striker. Now that he’s not, maybe the decision is de facto made? Well, it’s just a fun theory. Anything that might make our window more fun, been pretty dry for a while…

Guess so, I'm not to sold on Muani but he is the best option from the ones available.

Kolo Muani linking up with Nkunku, Mudryk, and Sterling would be lethal, imo.

If we are indeed interested and it’s possible we should get him.

Once Lukaku salary is off the book, it will probably become serious, or it was just a link without merit.

I just see pace. If that front line comes up against a physical defence, I see the same problems remaining.

Spending almost £100m on unproven strikers (IMO) over a reliable one would sum up our transfer dealings.

Yeah, no point in investimt in another striker this summer as the market is too complicated atm.

I'd have to agree. Kane & Osimhen are the only options that are worth pursing, and with neither likely to join, we'd be better off sticking with what we have.

A goal-scoring winger would be a nice stopgap till Jan or next summer, as I have the same worries as others here - Where are our goals going to come from?

Really? I’ve watched his highlights from this last season and he looks like the complete striker. Pace, power, fantastic technique for a big guy, scores and assisted like a machine. Looks like the sort of striker that, even when he isn’t scoring, will contribute to the team. He’s also young enough to still get better and better.

True, if they demand 100m we obviously shouldn’t go near that. But if they’d accept 70-80 I think he’s the best option on the market. I’m certainly WAY more impressed by him than Hojland who United are about to overpay for.

Summed up pretty well I see the same things. His hold up and ability to assist make him stand out for me. Means not only will he get his chances he will create a lot for players like nkunku and the rest. Our problem was our chance creation was so low for the amount of possession we had.
