RLC is another sad case of someone who had all the talent but was held back by his laid back mentality and underdeveloped passing skills - fatal for a midfielder. But it is testament to his outstanding overall technical and physical ability that he played every outfield position for us without looking out of place. Conor is the polar opposite. 0 skill but great energy and mindset. Always gives his all even when everyone around doesn’t care. This has earned him his place probably. I wouldn't be entirely against it as I think he is capable of playing there and it would protect his joints a little more as he wouldn't need to do so much running. Obviously, we lose his ability at RB/RWB but if Livra is available at £15m, I wouldn't be against getting him back. In addition, it'll mean we have a little more wriggle room in the market as people will know we aren't desperate for CM's/a DM. I do recognise I may get pelters for this. We'd still be a top level midfielder short (even if Reece was to fill in at midfield as needed). Losing Kante/Kovacic/RLC in the same window kills our depth for next season.
